Bill O'Reilly's book on Jesus killing is coming in September
Fox news host tackles history's most famous death

NEW YORK (AP) After million-selling books on the assassinations of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy, Fox news host Bill O'Reilly is turning to the most famous killing of all.
Bing: More on Bill O'Reilly
O'Reilly's "Killing Jesus: A History" will be published on Sept. 24.
Publisher Henry Holt and Co. announced Wednesday night O'Reilly will collaborate on the book with Martin Dugard, his co-author for "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Kennedy."
O'Reilly has written or co-written several best-sellers, including "Pinheads and Patriots" and "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity."

Having a million seller book on a subject doesn't make you a credible authority on a particular subject nor a credible journalist and O'Reilly is definitely neither. True journalism and credible examinations of such things as the Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations requires objectivity and people like O'Reilly don't show that. Fox News isn't news but biased reporting no better than the tabloids or gossip press/broadcast media and O'Reilly is no more credible or reliable than a reality tv show. Walter Cronkite had opinions about the Vietnam War, but in broadcasts he reported the news and left his opinions about the war clearly differentiated as editorial opinions. Far too many of the O'Reilly pseudo-journalists don't bother to make a distinction nor see any distinction and don't even bother to give their unnamed sources any more vetting than someone applying for a loan at a bank. I wouldn't trust O'Reilly or his ilk if they said rain was wet.
Bill, for the most part, is an intelligent man who uses good reason and logic (most of the time).
There is no need for Bill to write a book on killing Jesus, the Bible (the Gospels and other NT letters) tell us all we need to know about why Jesus was killed. He infuriated the Jewish religious leaders and these leaders came up with a way to kill him (by using the system). Although he had a great following (the common Jew), at the end, many Jewish followers sold him out. The Roman govenor of Judea, Pontius Pilot, washed his hands over the case by giving the Jewish people a choice. Pilot allowed the jewish community to decide for themselves, Barabas or Christ? Thus, the religious leaders and many of the common jews, who turned against Christ, led to his death on the cross. Now, as Paul Harvey would say, now for the rest of the story: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ opened up the opportunity for all sinners to come to God through Christ since it is Christ who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. One of the best evidence for the resurrection of Christ is the fact that there were many jews who gave their life to Christ (after the resurrection). Logic and reason would say the opposite, why would anyone (especially a jew) follow Christ after all that had happened. Even the apostle Paul, who hunted down Christians and was a religious leader gave his life to Christ. Surely, Christ resurrected and confirmed it by pouring out his Spirit on those who believed post resurrection. So, Bill, no need to write the book - it's already written.
James 5:1-6
New International Version (NIV)
Hope he get this part right?
Warning to Rich Oppressors by Jesus’s brother James: here he is saying that the rich had Jesus killed.
5 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.[a] 6 You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.
