Rihanna bares her body, soul in bathtub-set new video

RiRi has a Calgon moment in 'Stay'

For those who have harbored a secret fantasy about watching Rihanna take a long soak in a bathtub, we have good news (also, might we suggest talking to a therapist). The chanteuse hasreleased a plaintive new video for "Stay," the latest single off her "Unapologetic" album. Here's the vid in a nutshell: RiRi, wearing nothing but a diamond stud earring, talon-like nails and her many tattoos, gazes mournfully at the water; RiRi thinks deep thoughts while writhing around in the water; RiRi looks sad and lonely as her skin prunes in the water. "The video was really, really simple. I pretty much stayed put in a bathtub," she told Ryan Seacrest at Sunday's Grammys, where she performed the tune in between cuddling up with back-on boyfriend Chris Brown (cue collective "oy"). The catchy song also features singer-songwriter Mikky Ekko, but he doesn't get any one-on-one tub time with Rihanna. Watch it and tell us what you think.

I am 61 years old, I loved the song. I was very pleasantly surprised at her singing during the grammys. I think the vedio is very thought provoking and soulful but to the way songs use to sound. She is in that place in the song and you can feel it and her.  Both the song and her were beautiful. It sort of transends generations. I could feel her pain if she were my daughter I would just want to wrap my arms around her, hold her and tell her everything will be ok.  Please people remember your thoughts on someone else life and a quarter wont buy coffee. She is the only one that  can live it, when its over what anyone thought  won't matter to her or you. Please just judge yourself thats the only person you really know,  make sure you are living the best life you can live for yourself and your family.

Liked it...wasn't focused in on nudity, but, you could feel her pain through her facial expressions...no words were needed

Love the song.  I heard it for the first time watching the Grammy's and was encaptured by it's simplicity.  Very happy to see her just stand there an sing....beautiful.

Of course she has a lot on her mind.  Don't we all?  And for all of you quick to judge.....so you are in the perfect relationship with the perfect person?  Not a fan of Chris Brown, but you aren't her and you aren't there.

Perhaps the best thing she has ever done. The bathtub transcends any nudity and presents her reflective song with power and tenderness. The music and voice are awesome.

I thought it was rather artistic.  I didn't find it tasteless or sexually-provocative.

I was totally convinced that she (at this time) has a lot on her mind.  Good acting?  Not sure, but I made a connection with sad and mornful state and expressions that she displayed throughout this vid.

I refuse 2 playa hate. She is creative. Next week, Brittney Spears will be under a waterfall in a video. This is the world we live in.  Let these new generation folks have their say on the American experience.  Peace, love and happiness for Riahnna and Mr. Brown.

Its fine but why on earth is she taking chances with her life by staying with Chris  Brown??? Once an abuser always an abuser!

I really feel sorry for this young lady. She's back with an abuser. I understand, it's her first "true love", but it's really lust. I sure hope he doesn't kill her the next time. Abusers do not change, they hide their spots, but it will happen again. I know first hand and am lucky to be alive.

Like the song.....but the video is BORING!!  Why would she or the director or anybody think we'd enjoy just staring at her close up for 4 minutes? AWKWARD!!  UNCOMFORTABLE!!

People place waaaay too much importance on people who can sing or dance or look a certain way. People........animals can be trained to dance and/or "sing"! You allgive your time, money and affection to people you do not know and will NEVER personally know. My opinion is that you need your money more than they do. Cultivate relationships with people who are ACTUALLY in your lives and with people that you ACTUALLY know! These "celebrities" need YOU to prop up THEIR lives with YOUR money and your affection and a lot of people willingly sign on for that crap. They are simply, and sometimes simple, people who are siphoning off your money for their own extravagant lifestyles, If they had to do and REAL work, they couldn't handle it. If anything, they should pay us for putting up with their narcissistic selves! Keep your money and put it to work for you! Do you think Rihanna or Chris Brown or Beyonce or Gwen Stefani or Angelina Jolie needs your money? What they need is a good, strong dose of reality. Instead you will fund them more yachts, cars, clothes, etc.
