'Magic Mike' musical will feature audience lap dances, thong song
Pack some ones, people
If you prefer to take a passive role when attending the theater, then the forthcoming Broadway production of "Magic Mike: The Musical" may not be the ticket for you. Producer Gregory Jacobs tells Vulture that selected audience members can expect to have sweaty, unctuous and scantily clad men grinding on them during the strip club-set production. "Oh, you definitely might get a lap dance," he promises. "Absolutely. That's happening for sure." Anything else we can look forward to, Greg? "There's bound to be a great song about how to pick out a thong," he added. We can only hope that ditty is as edifying as "A Spoonful of Sugar" from "Mary Poppins." Oh, and don't expect Channing Tatum to reprise his starring stripper role on the Great White Way. "I don't think anybody wants to see me sing," the reigning Sexiest Man Alive tells "Access Hollywood." "Give me some time to work on it and then maybe."
