Sarah Michelle Gellar to star with Robin Williams in CBS comedy

Can Buffy keep up with the frenetic Oscar winner?

At last, our dream of Buffy the vampire slayer teaming up with Mork from Ork to fight the forces of boring TV has come true. Sarah Michelle Gellar is set to join Robin Williams in the CBS sitcom pilot "Crazy Ones," in which they'll play a father and daughter who run an advertising agency.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gellar stars as creative director Sydney Roberts, who is "pretty, intense, driven, organized and burdened with being practical." The sitcom will revolve around her life and how she deals with her man-child of a father (Williams, natch).

David E. Kelley will exec produce and write the pilot, which marks SMG's small-screen return following the one-season misstep that was "Ringer" (we remain forever indebted to the drama for this green screen-a-riffic boat scene, however).

Williams, meanwhile, hasn't had a regular TV gig since he hung up his rainbow suspenders when "Mork & Mindy" went off the air in 1982.

hmmm lack of creativity??? this reminds me of another show that was on the air a few years back called Just shoot me.......  really wish they can come up with some new and fresh ideas instead of just remaking one thats already been out there.

Could you have found a more unflattering picture of Robin Williams?

awesome I loved Mork and Mindy when it was on and love some of his movies not caught on them all bec man robin works to fast for me to catch up on all of his movies lmbo...I don't think anyone in this world can ever stay caught up w/ his acting career and movies or television shows either.  I am glad he is working on television again in another series and the female he is working with she is a good actress as well I saw a couple of her movies and I like her acting ability. they both keep on cue until they break character mainly if they are working with Robin because he always cracks people up either in or out of character that man can't tell if he is in character or not when he does that.  The director is a great one as well besides aaron spelling because in my eyes they was tied until his death now David E. Kelley is great on his own without worrying about that part.

I like the pairing of Geller with Robin Williams.
