Donald Trump: Beyoncé's Super Bowl hip-thrusting was 'ridiculous' and 'not appropriate'

To which Beyoncé's hips replied, 'Honey, so is your hair'

It's time to play the least fun game known to humanity: "What's Donald Trump kvetching about now?" In this edition, the tangelo-colored hairball has a bone to pick with Beyoncé's Super Bowl performance, for he didn't approve of the way she "was thrusting her hips forward in a very suggestive manner." "If someone else would have done that it, would have been a national scandal," Trump railed in a recent call to Howard Stern (ahem, you mean like this national scandal from way back in 1956, when Elvis was grinding his pelvis during "Hound Dog"). "I thought it was ridiculous. … I thought it was not appropriate." Yes, the man behind the Miss Universe pageant, in which women are rewarded for how good they look while strutting in a swimsuit, had his delicate sensibilities offended by Queen B's fierce performance. The good news is, Trump may be aware of his ever-increasing irrelevance. "There's been no mention of it," he continued, "so obviously, it must not have been so bad."

Trump is obnoxious (at best) but he does have a point here. And Elvis never gyrated around in speedos. I have long since stopped watching anything where Beyonce performs because I got tired, years ago, of the birds eye view of her crotch. The whole world has been forced to give her pap smears which she insist on taking several times a year. Enough already, B. You are a married, grown azz woman who is now a mother. Be a lady for once. Stop gapping open & cocking up your legs like a common Bytch. You can sing and you can dance. Congrats'  Now do us a favor and go get some Speech Therapy. You talk like you have a mouth full of rocks!

I found it amusing that the media was so worried about a couple of scheduled Super Bowl commercials (i.e. GoDaddy) not being suitable for a family audience.  Yes, let's worry about the kiddies seeing a model kiss a nerd, but then they can park themselves in front of the big screen and see a life-sized woman dressed like a dominatrix lunge and thrust to the loud beat.  Beyonce is a beautiful woman who has talent and a wonderful voice.  Why the need to haul out the sexual stuff?  In concert, maybe, but not for a Super Bowl halftime show.  Young girls don't need yet more reason to think that boobs and hips are more important than brains and heart.  Unfortunately, that seems to be the pervading belief . . . .

This is NOT about Trump-Beyonce has jiggling her booty so much that she has jiggled her brains loose and seems to think everyone in the world apprectiates seeing the same ignorant routine repeatedly and now in front of every small child and weirdo in the nation. Seriously this woman is revered way to much for the most ridiculous jiggle ever. Tina Turner was more incredible. She had decorum in front of kids. Beyonce flounces it around. No jealousy or anything else-if I want to watch the same lame routine I would just watch the countless other exact same booty shakes shes already done. I agree with TRUMP dress up and hold yourself like a woman when you are out in public! It's about time someone stands up and requires her to keep her legs together. He doesnt care how shes dressed just to have her keep legs where they belong! Side by side! Go trump!

Yes,  Trump has a point...I also thought Beyonce's "performance" at the Super Bowl was ridiculous, completely inappropriate

and even pathetic.   How sad that she regressed to that level.

She is inappropriate no matter what color she is. Not all people are adults so the adults should be better examples to the younger people. It really is ok to not act sexual or whatever this is 24/7. Suprise us, be different.

Thank you Donald Trump for having the guts to stand up and speak the truth.  Beyonce's so-called performance at the Super Bowl, seen by countless children, was a NATIONAL DISGRACE.  Totally inappropriate and vulgar.  All that was missing was the leather whip and pole.  The NFL and CBS should hang their heads in shame.  The country is going straight down the moral sewer.

Just look at this picture of her.   Look at what she's wearing to perform before a huge audience, full of young people.  I'm no prude by any means, but come on.  She owes us an apology.  Get some dignity, class and morals and stop acting like a whore and a slut.  And to think she is thirty something with a baby.  Feel sorry for her kid.

Trump was right on regarding her performance at the Super Bowl...it really was ridiculous, inappropriate

and pathetic. How sad that she regressed to that level.

Why is it that women of color have to expose their bodies in order to perform? As soon as I saw it I said to myself a million kids are watching this. I guess we can forget the word Lady, we wont be using it in the future. Same thing happened during the little league World Series.

Trumps is nuts. Although in this case I agree. Look at that picture above, whew! I don't want to wake up next to that. Is that what they call "talent"  today?

I can't stand Donald Trump so much that I won't buy his line of shirts which imo are great looking, but I have to agree with him this time. Just look at the picture of her...anything for a buck. I believe that is called prostituting oneself. She is such a talent and so beautiful it saddens me to see her disrespect herself so. And JayZ is so wealthy how can he be proud of his wife doing this. I have more compassion for women who prostitute themselves to survive than a woman who has talent, beauty and extreme wealth.  What will her daughter turn out to be when mother portrays herself this way?

The picture above is not something I want to see in a Super Bowl much less have children see it.  It's one thing to grab your crotch in a statement against society's mores, but this is just gross and disgusting.

Like him or not, Trump was spot on with his comments.....I am a very open minded adult, I am connected to the adult entertainment industry and the "performance" by Beyonce was beyond inappropriate wit millions of kids of all ages watching......That had absolutely no place in the Super Bowl or on national television. Whatever like or respect I had for her as an entertainer has gone away....That performance was better sited for an adults only audience at an adult club, not the Super Bowl and national TV.....Simply put, NFL, Super Bowl, CBS and Beyonce, you blew it big time!!

Trump is right. The out of wedlock birth rate is about 77% in the black community that Beyonce is a part of, or WAS, before getting rich. Morals are rare in the entertainment field. There was a time when hip-thrusting dances were only done in adult establishments, not on world-wide television. In those days, the bastard child was a rarity. No more though, and Beyonce doesn't help.

It's strange that someone like Trump, with plenty of money, can be so violently bitter at the world .

I agree with Donald Trump and it's a shame more of  our supposedly outstanding people and our MEDIA  DO NOT AGREE WITH HIM....   Her performance was shameful for such a talented woman with the ability to do so much good in inspiring our young people ...

It is true that she showed to be seriously piggish...but who the heck cares anymore?

Will he ever shut up. His need to grab attention from anything he can imagine as controversial is getting older than he is. By the way when he and Marla Maples were expecting a baby when he was married to his first wife, now there is a man with family values we should all care about. YOU KNOW THE THING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES, MR. TRUMP.
