Who is making the final 'Justice League' roster?
Some DC Comics characters make the cut, others don't

If they're gonna fight Darkseid, then they need all the strongest character for this galactic threat! They should have Superman, non-powered Batman-- b/c he's so popular, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Martian Manhunter, The Flash, and the half-robot guy-- who's name I forgot.
Also, the Justice League will not be a theatrical threat to The Avengers. Since the Marvel characters have already been well-introduced, and with their next movie having the Marvel-equivilent of DC's Darkseid character in Thanos, as the bad guy!
It will seem like two similiar movies competing the same time. My money will always be on The Avengers.
Bring it on...!!
No Aquaman? What the hell. He is the best member. The one most like regular people. His powers are much bigger than the average person knows. His skin is super durable (pretty much bullet resistant) due to the density of living at the bottom of the ocean, he can see in the dark, he can communicate with all aquatic life forms (which is much cooler than people thing), he can swim at super sonic speeds (which means on land he can also move pretty damn fast), he is extremely strong (3rd or 4th on the team behind Supes, WW, and possibly MM). In other words he is a bad ****.
And for the record, Superman and Batman were NOT founding members. They were the Flash, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Black Canary, and Green Lanterns. Supes and Bats did not join till later and did not play a major role on the team until much later.
Justice League has no shot against The Avengers. The Batman movies were overrrated, the Wonder Woman movie never made it to theatres, The Green Lantern was terrible, and that newer version of Superman was an unintentional comedy. Ironman 1 & 2 were very good, Captain America was very good, Thor was ok, and The Avengers was classic. I'm sorry, but the tone has already been set.
At the end of DKR, didn't Alfred see Bruce and Selina dining at an outdoor cafe? Was that just a dream sequence, or did Batman somehow survive the nuclear explosion? If he did survive, perhaps it was Superman who, unbeknownst to us, arrived to snatch him from the cockpit. Superman might have been "unavailable" for a variety of reasons during the first two movies. That would allow Batman and Superman to exist in Nolan's world. Bruce was ready to retire anyway, so this scenario would set the stage for someone else to take-on the role of Batman.
A fact about the justice league is Batman and Superman were not often included in the comic books, and the focus was on Aqua-man, Wonder woman, Martian Man hunter, Green Lantern and The Flash.
Through various encounters and such the Green arrow and Hawk-Man joined the group.
Later in the years around late 60s or early 70's the Justice league of ameroca moved Headquarters to a Floating orbital satellite and added to their ranks ( elongated man, red tornado, hawk woman, firestorm and the atom)
