'The Conjuring' trailer: you'll never play hide and seek again
Director of 'Insidious' returns with new shocker

The first trailer for the upcoming horror film "The Conjuring" has arrived, and it looks like another terrifying ride from director James Wan.
Wan is best known as the director of the first "Saw" movie as well as 2011's "Insidious," which was a surprise sleeper hit as well as one of the scariest films of the past couple of years.
As with "Insidious," Wan seems to be going for a creepier kind of horror here, with the real terror coming from you don't see or hear -- until you do.
One thing's for sure: after watching this trailer (see below), it will be a long time before you play a game of hide and seek in your house. And don't blame us if the sound of someone clapping starts to get under your skin!
The movie stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who are called in when a rural family is terrorized by what appears to be a demonic entity. The Warrens are real people and this is supposedly based on a true incident, which makes it all the more unnerving.
"The Conjuring" is out in theaters July 19, 2013.
