Kat Dennings to Return for 'Thor 2'
Not that anyone was really worried about her participation

Since Kat Dennings appeared as droll sidekick Darcy Lewis in last year's "Thor," she has become one of the hottest actresses on TV, with her "2 Broke Girls" becoming one of this past season's highest rated new sitcoms. Although it wasn't readily apparent that anyone really cared whether her character returned for "Thor: The Dark World," her heightened profile in the interim certainly can't have hurt her chances. So, we suppose it is with no surprise that Deadline has announced Ms. Dennings will return for the superhero sequel, and with an expanded role at that. What will Darcy Lewis be up to in the sequel, besides making deadpan asides about Chris Hemsworth's body and/or the lively, palpable sexual tension between him and co-star Natalie Portman? We have no idea, but probably something science-y. Which is, you know, nice, at least insofar as it means that the producers will be trying harder to keep the series grounded in reality.
What do you think, Hitlisters? Excited that Dennings will return? Could Marvel somehow be convinced to make a spinoff movie about her and Portman's characters, wherein the two of them go around solving science-y problems with their staggering, er, science things, and pouty, erm, intellects? As always, let us know in the comments...

I hope she shows up in the second Avengers movie too. I want Darcy/Tony/JARVIS snarky banter. Tony has several R&D labs, he'd let Jane have control of at least one. Darcy has seen too much to for SHIELD to let her out in the general populace, so she'd either remain as Jane's assistant or join SHIELD. Plus I ship Bruce Banner/Darcy Lewis.

Just gonna say, if they did make a spinoff movie about portman and dennings they should make a spin-off with Hiddleston as well (though in all truth, I wouldn't watch either). I honestly hadn't heard of Dennings.... call me out of the loop.
Just sayin' - Hiddleston's talented and shouldn't be glanced over just because others are better looking. I honestly didn't think they would be making another Thor movie. The cast is amazing in itself, it's really a power house and to see it disbanded is a shame.
Two words: Anthony Hopkins. 'nuff said.

Nothing special about her at all!
Did a good job in the movie... the TV show honestly sucks!
It's "success" is really the result of the network "telling" everyone that it is so great.
The few times I have tried to watch it, it makes me think of a couple of kids putting on a skit for their parent's friends... " Ok honey, say the line like you did yesterday for Daddy." " How was that?" "Good!" "Aren't they cute?"
