After months of speculation and gossip, the twenty-third James Bond film is in production right now, and we're going to be getting the final product before the year is even out. In celebration of that, the first poster from "Skyfall" has just hit the web, and it's the kind of cool, calm, and collected stuff we expect from Daniel Craig's Bond. It's also in black and white, so classy!  But what does it all mean? Who knows!

Plot details for "Skyfall" have been scarce and the production has been shrouded in secrecy, but we do know that the film's short synopsis tells us that "in 'Skyfall,' Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost." We'll know more about the film when its first trailer debuts on Monday, May 21st at 1230AM PST. Keep your eyes peeled, Bond-philes!

Sam Mendes has directed this latest installment, which returns Craig to his Bond role, along with a cast that includes Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Tonia Sotiropoulou.

"Skyfall" will open on November 9, and it will be available in regular theaters and IMAX. Check out a larger version of the poster, thanks to and ComingSoon, after the break.
