Should we just give this film all the Oscars, already?

A few days ago, we brought you the breathless news that Twentieth Century Fox had released a teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg's upcoming "Lincoln." Except it wasn't a teaser trailer for the actual movie, it was a teaser trailer for the film's teaser trailer. Ouch.
In any case, today the world can rejoice—finally!—at the long awaited release of the film's actual actual trailer. (Seen above.) In it, ponderous voice overs are spoken, Daniel Day Lewis looks pensive a lot in his astonishingly realistic Abraham Lincoln makeup, and lots of Union and Confederate soldiers get blowed up real good in a few brief glimpses of the Civil War. Also, everything looks amazing, and we fully expect this thing to be nominated for every Oscar ever, and maybe a few other awards that so far exist only in our imaginations.

What do you think, Hitlisters? Does this look like the greatest movie ever? Or at least one of the best movies of the year? Could it possibly win the Nobel Prize for Movies, or the MTV Movie Award for Best Abraham Lincoln Biopic, like we imagine? Check out the above trailer, at let us know in the comments...
