Marvel Teases 'Iron Man 3' Teaser Trailer In 15 Seconds
Before releasing the full trailer, apparently, tomorrow?

We don't know which ad man or woman it was who came up with the idea of the "teaser teaser trailer"—these roughly 15-second clips teasing not a movie, but a movie's actual trailer—but we suspect enough to be wary, distrustful, if not outright afraid of them. We've seen "teaser teaser trailers" for "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" and countless others, and they have never been anything less than boring, confusing, and/or a complete and utter waste of time. So we suppose it's a blessing in disguise that they're always so short.
All of which is just an elaborate pre-amble for the news that, yes, Marvel has seen fit to release a teaser for "Iron Man 3's" soon-to-be forthcoming teaser trailer. In it, we can see literally milliseconds of Tony Stark modeling a new Iron Man suit, Tony Stark looking confused, someone with a ponytail (?) cocking a gun, Pepper Potts in evident pain in some sort of roller coaster chair, Iron Man flying towards an ominous cloud of something-or-others, and—of course—some reassuring title cards announcing the real trailer will come out on "Tuesday." Whether that means "tomorrow" remains to be seen.
What do you think, Hitlisters? Is this new marketing trend clearly the product of a twisted, sinister, evil mind? Should we all be thankful that the perpetrator put his or her energies into making advertisements, and not, say, world-domination, or serial killing? And what do you expect of "Iron Man 3" once, well, we learn anything real about it? As always, let us know in the comments, or tell us on MSN Movies Facebook and MSN Movies Twitter.
