'Anchorman 2' Teasers Kind Of A Big Deal

Despite the fact that "Anchorman 2" hasn't even been written yet, let alone entered production, that hasn't stopped the film's producers from cranking up their promotional efforts to 11.
First came star Will Ferrell's (unexpected?) in-character appearance on "Conan." Then came the seemingly haphazardly thrown-together surprise teaser with last week's "The Dictator." Now comes a second teaser, courtesy of Ferrell's own Funny Or Die website. Which is really just an extended take/comic riff on the first. As the clip is probably (definitely) improvised, we're betting there are about seven thousand other versions of it that we might be treated to before the movie actually comes out in a year or whenever.
While we're not as enamored of Ferrell, Carrell, and Paul Rudd's hair-brained schtick as others, here's guessing that the first film's legion of fans will be more than happy just to see the whole gang back together. Minus Christina Applegate, of course.
Check out the teaser (linked to above) and the (marginally different) other teaser, courtesy of The Film Stage, and let us know what you think in the comments...
