New ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ Poster

Kristen Stewart stars in Universal’s latest take on the enduring classic

Kristen Stewart is looking more like Joan of Arc than Bella Swan in this just-released poster for “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Universal’s upcoming film that also stars Charlize Theron (“Young Adult”) as the Evil Queen and Chris Hemsworth (“The Avengers”) as the Huntsman. As everyone knows, this is the second movie version of the Snow White story this year and, for my money, it’s the more interesting of the two.

Director Rupert Sanders and writer Evan Daugherty have created an action fantasy that puts a decidedly new spin on the classic fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm. Learning of the plot against her, Snow White turns the tables on her vain stepmother and forms a rebellion to take down the corrupt Queen once and for all. As the title character, Kristen Stewart becomes a powerful leader well versed in the art of war.

Universal has also unveiled a new Facebook app called Snow White’s Kingdom. Fans can enter the world of the film, unlock exclusive content, and win a series of limited-edition prizes. There are nine different parts of the Kingdom in the app, each representing a character or location from the film. These sections periodically unlock so you can discover the content and earn badges but you need to move fast since the section will only unlock for a short period of time.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" opens everywhere on June 1, 2012.

I find it so sad that people are so jealous all they can do is bash others. No one is telling you to watch the Movie so if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Have a wonderful day Smile

A bit narrow-minded comparing one genre of film with another just because of one particular actor...but it's that kind of narrow-minded thinking that leads to critics...and most realists know what opinions are like...

I have been waiting to see it since the previews were first shown. I have always enjoyed her as an actress even when she was a little girl playing in kid movies my children watched. I wish people would stop bashing her they are so jealous of her. I also believe they are jealous of the twilight series because there is always comments about that. When she is not acting she seems to be a very shy person. I really am excited though to see this movie the whole family is going to see it.

I think Kristen is going to throw this role out of the park and I really think the visual effects already look awesome.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie. Also these entertainment writers need to quit comparing Kristen's movie roles to her Twilight saga character.  Be more creative than that.  She is gonna be super in this movie in my opinion.

people are so sad...

Public figures like actors put themselves before the public by choice. Yeah we all want praise all the time, but it don't happen. We're the public as much as you and are entitled to our opinion.

You need to start analyzing your own life instead of condeming others for voicing their opinions...Stop wasting time defending people who don't know OR care if you're alive. Your just another ticket to them so they can live high on the hog. Grow Up!

I am passing on "Snow White and the Huntsman". Kristen Stewart is no actress.

Not attractive enough; "Mirror, Mirror" was cute. Lily Collins was a prettier

Snow White; her story was more believable. Stewart should just go back

to "Twilght".

OMG - What a pity here career did not end with the first Twilight installment. She was already dead in that movie and another four episodes could not breathe any life back into that incredibly boring series.

As Snow White I anticipate she will parade around the screen with the same angst she brought to Twilight.  What a horrible waste of digital media.

Please! Kristen Stewart couldn't portray a white woman much less Snow White. Once the Breaking Yawn fad fully fades so will she, thankfully.

I will not be seeing Kirsten Stewart as Snow White since she is the worst actress. She cannot act, period. She should have been Sleepy or Dopey instead.

It's a triple threat, not attractive, not skilled, not interesting.

i don't really know who this chick is, but she's ugly and kind of looks like a man.

For her sake, I hope she can act, or she's likely to have a short career!

So it looks like the last Harry Potter Movie poster-Kristen as Snow White? Bad pick, not the pure of blood type. Heck we have a great Snow White on our TV series Never After she looks much more the type.

Considering that the star of Twilight is in it.  I am certain it will be lame and I will avoid it even in tv service.
