Are you sick of superhero movies? How about found footage flicks? Well, too bad!

From early on in the "Chronicle" trailer (up at MTV Movies and due to run before "Paranormal Activity 3" this weekend), it becomes apparent that our three unknown leads (Michael B. Jordan, Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell) are testing out their newfound knacks for invisibility, telekinesis and flight. So far, so good, right?

Well then, one of them goes too far, and before we know it, three friends are turning on one another as Seattle's teen superheroes toy with the lives of civilians and the idea of becoming supervillains. At least that appears to be the track that co-writer Max Landis (son of John) and co-writer/director Josh Trank are taking.

We'll know for sure when "Chronicle" opens on February 3, 2012.
