Bloody New Poster for ‘Sinister’ Revealed
The supernatural Ethan Hawke film promises major thrills and chills this fall
That looks an awful lot like real blood in the just-released poster (created by SA Studios) for the upcoming supernatural film “Sinister.” Directed by Scott Derrickson (“The Exorcism of Emily Rose,” “The Day the Earth Stood Still”) and co-written by Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, “Sinister” stars Ethan Hawke as a true-crime novelist who buys a new home with the hopes that it will be a peaceful place for writing his next book. But when Hawke finds a box of old home movies in his new residence, he is stunned to discover that the films show the gruesome murders of families who once lived there. As he explores the mystery, he discovers that all of the murders have some kind of connection to a supernatural entity known as “Bagul.” Will Hawke and his family become the next victims of this malevolent spirit?
The early buzz on the horror film has been very positive. If you want to see this terrifying film before its theatrical release, you can buy tickets to a series of advance screenings at SeeSinisterFirst.com.
