'Anchorman 2' Finally Gets the Green Light
Great Odin's raven! The sequel to the irreverent 2004 hit is finally underway
After taking in $85 million domestic with "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," it seemed like director Adam McKay and star Will Ferrell were destined to make a follow-up... and they did. Three more times, in fact -- 2006's "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," 2008's "Step Brothers" and 2010's "The Other Guys." But none of them concerned the continuing adventures of Burgundy and his Channel 4 Action News team.I love comedies but this guy makes me want to puke! I see nothing funny about him at all. Just my personal opinion but I truly believe he tries too hard. I turned off the original about 1/2 way through, never saw Talledega Nights, Step Brothers, Bewitched, The Other Guys or Land Of The Lost simply because he was in it.
Not sure what all the fuss is, but he leads hollywood in the "loosing money" catagory for actors/comedians.
Will Ferell must do super favors to get the breaks in life he has. It sure isnt about talent. He is either packing some very influential noses or he is a damn good bull slinger. He may appeal to slugish silly minds, but two of anything with him is two too many.
Anytime a "star" goes on Conan to announce anything it spells....loser....capital L
