FEATURED POST
It's "tracking like monster hit"

Not only is Breaking Dawn Part 2 tracking better than any other film already or about to open in the domestic box office before mid-November, but it’s even better than James Bond — 72 awareness for Skyfall vs 88 for Breaking Dawn Part 2. (Skyfall opens November 9th.) Naturally, Summit, now part of Lionsgate, is hoping the finale grosses more than Part 1‘s $138.1M opening weekend and breaks even more records. It should — especially because of the on-again, off-again, now on-again real-life relationship between Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson. (Were those Summit execs born under a lucky star or what? The pair reunited just in time for all the worldwide promotion like personal appearances and press tours. And the studio denies their reunion is a publicity stunt. ”They’re kids. They break up. They get back together. They’re good,” one exec assures me.)
Within only a few days of advance tickets going on sale October 1st, Breaking Dawn Part 2 already represented half of Fandango’s sales for the week. Now Fandango tells me it’s 36% of today’s overall ticket sales even though it doesn’t open for 3 weeks yet — outselling this weekend’s Argo, Cloud Atlas, and Silent Hill: Revelation combined.

Lautner as a frat boy

He's almost unrecognizable

Mon dieu!

"The House of Dior is delighted to announce that actor Robert Pattinson is to be the new face of Dior Homme fragrance. Since his first notable role in 2005 in the fourth Harry Potter sequel, film star Robert Pattinson has more recently come to be known through his role in the runaway box office success, the Twilight saga.
Today we are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces. Photographed by American artist Nan Goldin and filmed by French director Romain Gavras, this new Dior Homme communication campaign is currently broadcast exclusively in Europe (except UK) and Asia (except China and Japan)."
Why not in the UK?! Gawd, are the French still mad at the Brits, or what?
It's rumored that the campaign ad is "steamy" and features Pattinson surrounded by almost-nekkid women in bed.
@BreakingDawnMovie has these stills, which aren't steamy, but do look promising:

Too bad he's not in the running for "Fifty Shades of Grey."

A political pic and an indie film

"...a young soldier who escapes her suffocating small town by joining the military, only to find that she isn't going for a tour of duty in Iraq as she hoped. Instead, she's sent to Guantanamo. Met with hatred and abuse from the Muslim men in her charge, she forges an odd friendship with a young man who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years." No word yet on who her co-stars will be.
"The film explores middle age and that introspective period where one questions how they've spent their life so far and what they've accomplished. The title refers to the Swiss setting, and Stewart plays the assistant to Binoche's character, an actress who becomes obsessed with a young actress (Moretz) playing the role that made the older actress famous when she was young."
If there's profit to be had, I'd say that would be affirmative.

"We continue to see plenty of momentum at Lionsgate, with a strong slate, improving television business and upside to our earnings forecasts," [James] Marsh added. "We think the key to the shares' performance from here is demonstrating that the company can build off of its success with 'Hunger Games' and create and extend additional franchises."Marsh noted that two potential franchises ("Ender's Game" and "Divergent") are set for release in the next nine months and added that he's comfortable that management will find a way to extend the 'Twilight' franchise.
Will they sweep?

It's called Mattlin Era

You’re quite the triple threat (actress, singer, designer). Did you find this foray into jewelry to be a daunting process?
“No, I’ve always had a desire to design. My great grandmother on my father’s side was a jewelry designer and my grandmother is a ceramic-tile muralist; very much a pioneer in her own right. My whole family is filled with artists, actually — my brother is a painter, my dad is sculptor, and my mom is a beautician. I love creating and I wanted to make something tangible that I could hold and wear. Designing jewelry is a totally different form of expression. I actually do this all myself and someone later helps me draw to scale. When I got the call to do the collaboration with 7 For All Mankind, I was so excited. The phone call came at 8am; by 2pm I had a ton of drawings already done.”
You and Paul sing and write songs together. Does he also get a say in the jewelry line?
“With the first collection, I was constantly bouncing ideas off of him. He loves to be involved in everything I do, down to what I wear everyday. We bounce everything off each other.”
What’s the inspiration behind the collaboration?
“It’s all about love, so it just fits with what my life is right now. All Paul and I write about is love, so parts of about 20 little love notes I wrote are engraved on some of the jewelry.”
