It's late, it's Sunday night, and I was feeling some Twi silliness. So here are some random "Twilight" funnies I've come across recently:
If you need ideas on Twi-pimping your ride, here's one:
Not sure if the other side is done up in the same way. How the people are getting in/out of the car is one question I've got. Another question might be, "Are you on any special medication?" [Thanks, TwiCrackAddict!]
Do you play Farmville on Facebook? Here is the ultimate Twifan's farm:
I can't even count how many bales of grey and red hay this took, let alone the amount of time. And here I was, lame Farmville player that I am, just using plain old yellow hay to stack against the barn for my cows to eat. D'oh!
Jane emailed me this, a Popzilla animation where fans get flashed by Rob, with unfortunate results (thanks, Jane!):
This next one is funny and also a bit scary. Scary as in, "People please don't get carried away!" This morning I saw this in my Oct '09 Health magazine:
So I asked myself, "There are people out there who are putting semi-permanent fang caps onto their canines?! Holy shiz." Well here you have it, just one example:
Click on the photo to go to their site, The Vampires Dentist. *shudders* [Just a reminder that Stephenie Meyer's vampires don't have fangs, just super sharp teeth.] I'm going to stick with the nasty tasting plastic fangs from the costume shop. Just sayin'.

Alex Meraz, who plays Paul in "New Moon," is everywhere these days.
Here he is a couple of weeks ago in Vangroover, getting his takeout. Presumably returning to his hotel to eat in peace and privacy (which seems to be what the whole Twicast does now, understandably so). Can I just point out that it's raining, probably about 58 degrees, and he's in flip-flops and a muscle shirt? Likin' the feet tattoos.

Alex is also featured in an upcoming issue of Los Angeles Confidential magazine--the center of a photoshoot styled by competitors in the latest MTV reality show, "Styl'd." The shoot took place at the Grand View Cemetery in Glendale, CA. Wolf goes vampire.
The show premieres on Sunday, November 1. See more of Alex's photos here.
And Alex is the latest Wolf Pack member to join Twitter!
Some of his latest Tweets:
He even posted a photo so you can be assured it's really him:

Some recent stills from "New Moon" of the other cast members. Judging by the tags, these are from one of the official Twilight Conventions.
Gil Birmingham as Billy Black. You can see crutches behind him--are those Billy's?

Tyson Houseman as Quil Aeatra. Quil doesn't have a huge role in "New Moon," but he sure will in "Eclipse"!

Charlie Bewley as Demetri, one of the Volturi. This still looks like it's from the scene where Felix says, "The girl comes with us," and Edward--shirtless and looking scary, yet beautiful--says, "You can go to hell."

Michael Welch as Mike Newton. I think this is from the movie theatre "triple date" scene which includes Mike, Bella, and Jacob. Is this before or after Mike pukes?

Tinsel Korey as Emily Young, Sam's beautiful and scarred girlfriend. The scar looks convincing for sure.

The humans of Forks HS: Christian Serratos as Angela Weber, Justin Chon as Eric Yorkie, Mike, and Anna Kendrick as Jessica Stanley. Go Spartans!

Interview Magazine's 40th anniversary features Kristen Stewart, with actor Dennis Hopper doing the interview, and photos of Kristen in Interview's typically cutting-edge style.
Dennis Hopper is an amazing actor, although I think I'm still traumatized from
"River's Edge" and "Blue Velvet." An excerpt from the interview:
HOPPER: These Twilight books have some dark material.
STEWART: But the movies aren’t that dark, as much as we’d all have loved to have made those films. But as pretty as it is to watch and as nice as it is to have watched these two characters find solace in each other, everything around them is absolute chaos. I mean, you have to question their motivations—to watch two people so unhealthily devoted to each other . . . I stand behind everything that they do. I have to justify it in my mind, or else I couldn’t play the character. But they are definitely not the most pragmatic characters. The weirdest fucking themes run through this story—like dominance and masochism. I mean, you always have to realize that the story needs to make sense to the 11-year-olds who read the book and aren’t necessarily going to be viewing a scene as foreplay. But then there is the other segment of the audience—a large percentage—who does see the scene as foreplay. And it’s pretty deep, heady foreplay. [laughs] So it’s fun to play it both ways. I mean, I don’t know what it feels like to make out with my vampire boyfriend because it isn’t something that anybody has ever felt. But it’s funny to think that a lot of the audience is 10 years old and will maybe one day grow up to realize there are a lot of involved thoughts in Twilight that they didn’t see before.
HOPPER: Well, you’re getting a lot of attention.
STEWART: Yeah, it’s weird. There’s an idea about who I am that’s eternally projected onto me, and then I almost feel like I have to fulfill that role. Even when things come out of my mouth, I want to be sure I’m saying exactly what I mean. All I’m thinking of is the fact that everything that I say is going to be criticized—not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed. And it’s always something that matters so much to me that doesn’t come out right. But in terms of how my life has changed, I never really went out a whole lot before. I’m sort of an in-my-head kind of person. I wish I could take more walks . . .
HOPPER: You can’t take walks?
STEWART: I’d like to take more walks after work, instead of having to come back to my hotel room and not leave. So it can be boring. I’ve been working as an actress since I was very young, and I know a lot of people who are actors who don’t have to deal with having a persona . . . You know, if you look up the word persona, it isn’t even real. The whole meaning of the word is that it’s made up, and it’s like I didn’t even get to make up my own. It can be annoying. But I have a really strong feeling that this is going to go away, that this is the most intense it’s going to get—and could get—and that it’s fleeting. So in a few years, I will hopefully become more like the people I want to become like.
More of the interview is here, but if you want to read the entire thing, pick up the October issue of Interview.
Check out this behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot:

This is going to be two week's worth of Robalicious goodness. I leave for vacation in...OMG, a few hours! So I have to make it a fine, fine Roundup. And it's 1:52am. Maybe looking at some of these pics will get my adrenaline going, know what I mean?
AnOtherMan magazine features Rob on its upcoming cover. Here are the photos, sans text. I'm guessing James Dean was the inspiration for these shots? Whatevs--they are smoldering.

Last Saturday night there was a private party hosted by Jackson Rathbone's band, 100 Monkeys. Rob attended, and came home by taxi, in his usual hoodied, disheveled, mis-buttoned, stain-on-pants manner.
The buttons, the buttons. I'm trying to comprehend how this could happen. Maybe all the mirrors in his room are fogged up and he can't see himself? Maybe he buttons up with his eyes closed, while wearing thick mittens? Adorkable.
That same night, a Vancouver bakery called Deliciously Yours Cakes provided the cupcakes for the shindig. Not just any old cupcakes--cupcakes shaped like monkeys, popcorn, and burgers. Here's their Rob encounter:
If my phone rang at 2:30am and it was Rob Pattinson, I would be in the ER by 2:39am because I would have fallen out of my very high bed and biffed my head on the stupid nightstand.
Anyhoo, read the whole cupcake story here.
Robsessed posted these fan encounter pics from March 2009, when he was in Vancity filming "New Moon." It was the era of the trucker hat, the era of Rob going out without a security phalanx. Rob in a divey little pub, having a few too many, getting bleary-eyed.

Looks like his evening of fun is coming to a close. Mmm.

Last week they filmed some "Eclipse" scenes with Robward driving the Volvo:

Rob is a really nice guy--charitable and sweet. Two cool stories about his good deeds:

Ok, it's freakin' 3:10am. Here's your video fix, thanks to my video dealer @SaraKullen.

Why do those sideburns make me crazy? And that head of messy hair? Let me just say that this dark and somewhat angsty Rob is the Edward Cullen in many a fan fic story. See the magazine shots here.

Now I'm sure everyone's wondering, did Robert Pattinson get to enjoy your cupcakes, did you get to meet him? The answer to that one is a definite yes! Sara and I mustered up the courage to talk to him and I even brought a hamburger cupcake for him to sample and he enjoyed it very much!
ps. That night at about 2:30am Sara got a mysterious call from an unknown number which turned out to be Robert Pattinson himself, telling us how "beautiful" our cupcakes were! What a sweet guy! Totally the icing on the cake!!

Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz are in the pic, too, obviously amused. Rob and his favorite beer, Heineken.
This I-won-the-Lotto fan is on his lap. OME. Maybe he's telling the papz, "Hey leave us alone! How am I going to get lucky with you guys all over me like this?" Oh Rob, you have no idea how lucky you could really be--the line would span the globe 17 times.
Looks like his evening of fun is coming to a close. Mmm.

- Rob signed this copy of "New Moon" for a very ill fan while he was in NYC this past summer. Read the whole story here.
- @peterfacinelli was trying to hit the 1 million mark on his Twitter followers, so he Tweeted this:
- And a couple of weeks later, we got Rob's only Tweet ever. Wahhh.

The "New Moon" 2010 movie calendar is now available, but here we've got HQ closeups of some seriously drool-worthy, swoon-inducing, slack-jawed staring, can't-blink-anymore, Edward so-bee-yoo-tee-full Cullen.

There is no way anyone else could have played Edward, no one. Thank you Catherine Hardwicke for realizing this immediately!

Ok don't blame me if you go broke buying all this "New Moon" merch. For months there was nothing...but the levee is slowly breaking, unleashing a flood of stuff your way. Stuff you don't need, but you'll desperately want.

See it all at Hot Topic!

Not sure why the "Edward" dude has Zac Efron-ish hair. Edward would never have hair like that. I don't know if he'd wear Chucks either.
