Finally, some Rob photos I can post! Let's all do a happy Rob dance, shall we?
Some dang lucky fans had Rob encounters this past week. These gals happened upon him and Kristen (bonus!) at a vintage shop:
@ROBsessedBlog pointed out that it's the same grey shirt and jacket from September 2008: (But that glorious hair is under a baseball cap now, wahhh.)

Another très chanceux fan ran into him outside a restaurant. Oh yeah, the toque is back! One of the few benefits of cooler weather. Her story is here.

OK! magazine conducted a poll on which celebrity fans would most like as their teacher. Rob was voted #1 (well, duh!), and the students who voted thought he would likely teach English Literature. Rob as a teacher, hmm. Extra credit, after school sessions, the TA's office...I'll just let you create your own fan fic on that thought.

Here are a couple of set pics from "Eclipse." Swoon-worthy Edward! Love the big smile--we haven't seen it much lately.

Now here are two videos for your enjoyment. I couldn't pick just one, I'm so Rob-greedy!
Have a great weekend, Twifans! Follow me on Twitter :)

Hi. I hope everyone is having a great week.
It has come to my attention through several concerned emails that many popular websites like MySpace and Facebook are displaying ads offering a chance to win Midnight Sun. This is a hoax. I would advise against giving out any personal information or even clicking on the links.
That is my 'tip of the day' from your friendly neighborhood webmaster. On a more exciting note, we only have to wait 71 more days until New Moon the movie hits theaters! In case you don't want to have to count the days on your calendar (like I just did) every time you think about Edward and Jacob, I've added a countdown widget to the New Moon Movie page (right side).

The latest from Summit Entertainment:
Summit Home Entertainment announced today the acquisition of the documentary feature TWILIGHT IN FORKS: THE SAGA OF THE REAL TOWN directed by Jason Brown, a three time Emmy Award winner. Produced by Brown, as well as York Baur and Peter Cowles and their company Heckelsville Media, the feature chronicles for TWILIGHT fans the story behind Forks, Washington, which serves as the primary setting for the popular TWILIGHT books and films. Additionally, the documentary features untold tales of Forks’ unique history, mysticism and culture.
Summit plans to release the film onto DVD in conjunction with the home entertainment debut of the second film in the TWILIGHT franchise – THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, which is set to arrive in stores during the first part of 2010.
Steve Nickerson, Summit’s President of Home Entertainment, stated, “The fans of the TWILIGHT SAGA will enjoy this look into the real town of Forks, its natural beauty and the interesting people that call it home. We are excited to make this incredible documentary available to Twilight fans early next year.”
TWILGHT IN FORKS offers a tantalizing mix of real-world Forks and the fantasy that makes the TWILIGHT saga so irresistible. Fans will get to hear from the real people living their lives in the town, including: the Chief of Police, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for the franchise’s leading lady Bella, and the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice. They’ll also visit Forks High School, hear self-described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and see many more of the people and places of Forks.
“Summit Home Entertainment is the perfect partner for us,” said York Baur, Heckelsville Media’s president. “Our goal with this project was to show the unique culture, beauty, and remoteness of the real Forks to the world, and Summit’s distribution of our film will do exactly that.”

You have heard Rob sing, right? He's got two songs on the "Twilight" soundtrack (if you haven't, go to my Twilight Soundtrack page). He plays the guitar and the piano very well--that wasn't a hand double during the Edward Plays for Bella piano scene in "Twilight." And if you haven't seen the DVD extra of "Edward's Concert," well here you go:
Here is a fanmade clip of Rob singing "I Was Broken," a song written by his friend Marcus Foster. Rob, along with his other musically-endowed friends, used to do open mic nights--obviously no longer a possibility with his current fame. He sings with such a soulfulness and intensity, it's amazing to listen to.
Personally, I think Rob Pattinson has some seriously untapped musical talent. He's said before that music is his backup if the acting thing fails. It's too bad we can't clone him so we could have Rob the Actor simultaneously exist with Rob the Musician.
There's a new fansite dedicated solely to the music of Robert Pattinson! Check out @MyRobPattinson's new site--she's got oodles of video and audio clips, links to his friends' music pages, plus the history of Rob's musical life. My favorite feature, though, is Rob Radio.

Sometimes obsession manifests itself in very strange ways. Check out some weird but dang funny Edward Cullen, uhh, stuff.
You've all done those corn field mazes, right? I mean what else are you going to do with a field of corn, put a baseball field in the middle of it? I guess these people were also thinking in the same line of, "If you build it, they will come." Except it's more like, "If you build it, the Twinuts will come."
You've got the Team Jacob maze on the left, and the Team Edward one on the right. Syracuse, Utah, is the location of the Black Island Farms; their 24-acre maze, will be open from September 24 through October 31. Get lost in Jacob or Edward's eyes...but please don't get lost in their corn maze faces.
Now I present to you the Edward's Head Shower Curtain. Okay so you've got waterproof, laminated posters of Robward lining your shower stall (puhleez, admit it already; it can't be just me). But the big Edward head is just a little too "Wizard of Oz" to me. And the last thing I need in the shower while my face is covered with soap is a scary flashback to the flying monkeys.

And now we have this stalkerrific Edward silhouette cutout, complete with his parting note's words to Bella, "Be safe." It's more like, wake up buzzed and disoriented at 3:00am, see that shadow on your wall, and BE EFFIN' SCARED!
The makers of this even had the courtesy to make it a 6'2" tall cutout, to stay accurate with all of Edward's measurements. And it comes in many colors other than black; go for the silver metallic, or get matte white and then glitter it up yourself. And when the men in white coats come to take you away, just keep telling them, "But he sparkles!"

From the same people who brought you the 6'2" Edward cutout, here is the mini Edward. The mini is 8" tall and 2.3 " wide--ideal for your laptop or school binder. Like big Edward, it also comes in a variety of colors.

Since this is made from high quality cut Vinyl, it has a 6-year outdoor durability. Bumper sticker!Follow me on Twitter!

September 8, London--Michael Sheen was at the GQ Men of the Year Awards at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden when he dished to the BBC Newsbeat about his upcoming role as Aro in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
He said: "I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: 'What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?'
"And it wasn't, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out."
"There's a lot of security but there was nobody hanging around the set or anything like that," he said.
"I think all the Twilight fans are very well behaved on the whole, they let them do the work and then when they're out and about they go a bit mental."
Sheen also spoke about getting brownie
"When they first asked me if I wanted to do it, I hadn't read the books or anything, so I had to ask my daughter what the character was like without tipping her off… because I didn't want to get her all excited if I didn't end up doing it.
"She said she thought Aro, my character, was bald but he's got long black hair so I hope I haven't ruined it for her by not being bald. She cried when I told her.
"No matter what happens I have to be at the premiere in LA. That's the whole reason she wanted me to do it, so she could go to the premiere."
