This is the kind of list which usually has people like Steve Jobs and Warren Buffett, but in years past it has gotten more savvy about celebrities and other non-CEO types who are making an impact on technology, politics, and social causes.
Some interesting peeps on the list: Brangelina moved up to #8, from last year's #9. Spielberg is #11. Judd Apatow, writer/director/producer of "Superbad" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin," is #29. Bono is #34. Designer Marc Jacobs is #54. Stephen Colbert is #79, dropping down from last year's #45.
Stephenie is #82, sandwiched between Fox News' Glenn Beck (ugh) and NY Times columnist Frank Rich.
82. Stephenie Meyer
Author
NEW ENTRY.
STAGE OF GLOBAL CONQUEST: The Mormon housewife’s Twilight teen-vampire romance novels sold nearly 29 million copies in one year, capturing the top four positions on the USA Today best-seller list for 2008, making her the first author ever to do so. (J. K. Rowling came close with Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 5 with her Harry Potter titles in 2000.) The movie version of Twilight grossed $191 million in the U.S., and the film adaptation of her second book, New Moon, opens in November. Meyer has also inspired hundreds of Web sites from fans who call themselves “Stephen-ites” or “Twi-hards.”
MARITAL RELATIONS: Her husband, Christian, quit his job as an auditor to look after their three sons.
DAILY HABITS: Drives fast but doesn’t consume alcohol or caffeine.
LEGEND HAS IT: Meyer, 35, began writing as a 29-year-old Phoenix housewife in 2003 after dreaming of vampires one night. She wrote 10 pages the next morning before driving her sons to swimming lessons. She moved a desk into the living room and finished her 130,000-word first novel in only three months.
THORN IN HER SIDE: Stephen King, who said that “Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn.”
NEW THORN IN HER SIDE: Jordan Scott, who has alleged in a lawsuit filed in August that Meyer stole ideas from her 2006 vampire novel The Nocturne, and used them in Breaking Dawn, which Meyer published in 2008. Meyer’s publisher has said that the claims are meritless.

I am totally into re-using/recycling, and once in awhile I hug a tree. But sometimes trees need to be cut down, especially if it's to make cool stuff to make Twifans happy.
Item #1: The Robert Pattinson 16-month wall calendar. $12.99 is a small price to pay for a daily dose of bodacious RobRobs. At Calendars.com. I find it very amusing that on this site, this calendar falls under the "Family>Mom's>Mom's Organizers" category.

Item #2: US Weekly has issued its second "Twilight" specialty magazine, the limited edition "Sexy Stars of Twilight: New Moon." Ka-ching! How do they know Twifans are such suckers for this stuff?! Of course they put our schmexy hawt vampire boy on the cover, sheesh. $9.99 at Barnes & Noble, starting September 25.

Item #3: Teen Sensations "Twilight" issue number 2 is out now, and I must confess that I'm pulling for this one because, well, I'm in it. For real. One of the articles, "Get Intimate With Robert Pattinson," has a quote from your very own goofy TwiSuperfan. Thanks again to @TwiMoonlight for contacting me, and for being so professional and gracious about the whole experience. Get the mag at your bookstore or here.

Item #4: The Robert Pattinson Poster Calendar. This calendar is oversized so you can stop using your magnifying glass to ogle Rob's button-fly's (ahem). $17.99, also at Calendars.com. [And yes, this one is also under the category "Family>Mom's>Mom's Organizers."]
Add these to your ever-expanding collection of Twi merch!

And Rob, Kristen, and Taylor won't merely be appearing at the awards show, they'll be presenting a never-been-seen exclusive expanded trailer for "New Moon." Yes!
The first trailer for "New Moon" debuted at this year's MTV Movie Awards, so it's only fitting that another exclusive trailer make its first showing at the VMAs. On this same day, MTV.com will also premiere the first single off the "New Moon" soundtrack: "Meet Me on the Equinox" by Death Cab for Cutie.
Muse, whose "Supermassive Black Hole" on the "Twilight" soundtrack is a big fan favorite, will be performing at the show, along with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Green Day, and Pink.
Set your DVRs! The show airs on Sunday, September 13, 9:00pm EST.
More here.

I lost track of the days, so this is a day late. Sorry Twipeeps!
The RDS (Rob Deprivation Syndrome) is still in full swing, so this week's roundup will be of miscellaneous Robward items. If only Rob would walk out of his hotel, walk down the street, pick up his coffee at Starbucks, walk out, do a bit of iPhoning, smoke a cigarette, dispose of his rubbish, and then catch a cab--if he'd just do this tomorrow morning, we'd have literally 279 photos of him online by the time his taxi got to its destination. Alas, we likely will not be this lucky.
I posted this photo so you can see exactly why we no longer have carefree walkabout Rob photos. This is him in a car with a driver and bodyguards en route to the set of "Eclipse." Sigh.

Anyhoo...
Rob is featured on this month's Premiere magazine, which not only has him on the cover (in a Batman shirt, oh yeah), but also includes a very revealing new interview.

A couple of photos from the Teen Choice Awards which I haven't posted before. According to "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke, Rob told her he didn't have any clean clothes for the event, so he borrowed the red plaid one from his friend Marcus Foster. Once again proving that he needs me as his Personal Wardrobe Assistant.

Robsessed Pattinson has a series of Rob-with-fans photos (the days of old when mere mortals could get near him without pandemonium and potential bodily harm). My favorites: [Note: The fans had been blacked out on purpose.]
If I ran into him somewhere and he looked like this I wouldn't be alive now to tell the tale. He should really wear more of these fitted shirts.

Rob with a fan at a pub. Missing that coat and the toque.

Schmexy, possibly buzzed, extra stubbly Rob. Kill me now.

And here's your Rob video fix for the week, thanks to @SaraKullen! Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire" is so appropriate :)

Seriously, the jawporn in these photos is just way beyond what a human can handle.
Here's a bit of that interview:

You know, I've been noticing a lot more guys on the street with this messy Rob-do. I'm sure it took them loads of product and serious mirror time. They should realize that Rob's method is just to do nothing to it other than run your fingers through it at least 25 times per hour.

Lion & Lamb Love has this amazing new still of Edward and Bella from "New Moon." Judging by their clothes, this is from the birthday party scene--but not sure if it's before or after the paper cut mishap.
The hair, the suit, the sideburns, the closed eyes on that preternaturally beautiful face. OME for sure. Okay everyone, all together now...one collective sigh...

Taylor Lautner will heat up the cover of Teen Vogue's October "Young Hollywood" issue, on newsstands September 8.
In the accompanying article, he talks about the Team Jacob type of girl: "If she likes having a really close friendship with a guy," he begins, "being able to tell him anything, and then having that friendship slowly transform into something more...." The seventeen-year-old stops himself and laughs. "I find myself using the word transform a lot lately," he explains, "because that's what Jacob does."
He also reveals that, although he lives with his family an hour outside of Los Angeles, "There are twelve cars that camp outside my house," he marvels. "You can't ever really get used to it, because it's not normal to have people snapping pictures of everything you do. You just have to try not to let it affect you."
Teen Vogue has a very cool video from the cover shoot, where Taylor talks about jumping into a pool while fully dressed, working with legendary photographer Bruce Weber, his admiration for actor Denzel Washington, and the evolving relationship between Jacob and Bella.
Check it all out here. Be sure to enter their "New Moon" premiere contest, and sign up to get an exclusive Taylor poster!
