RadarOnline.com has the first photos of Rob as Edward on the "Eclipse" set. The white makeup and fabulous hair is back, squee! I like the jacket he's wearing, some kind of dark denim with front pockets.

A few people Tweeted me and said I was on Tweeterwall.com, as one of the many "Twilight" fansites out there, in a worldwide competition for "Twilight Saga Fan Competition."
As of this moment I have 10 votes and am on page 5. I don't think this is anything hugely serious, it's all in good fun. Still, I wouldn't mind moving up to at least page 3!
So help me out and vote, please! Click on me below, and when you get to Tweeterwall.com, find me on page 5, and vote. Thank you!

The cupboard is bare. The walls are empty. The fields are fallow.
I have scoured the Internet and there is not a single semi-legitimate shot of Rob from the past week. Not a one. [Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to post those grainy and super-intrusive paparazzi shots taken at places where they shouldn't have been.]
I think the era of the walking-down-the-street-alone Rob has officially ended, and it makes me so very sad. During the filming of "New Moon" in Vancouver last spring, there were copious amounts of passable paparazzi shots of him on the street, with his coffee, coming out of a restaurant, etc.
But after the disastrous encounters with fanatical fans and rude paparazzi that occurred this summer while Rob filmed "Remember Me" in New York City, everything seems to have changed. Now it's pandemonium whenever he appears. Now he's whisked away in a car and there are security people, and all kinds of maneuvering to get Rob in and out of anywhere, as quickly as possible. The losers in this? The respectful fans. Sigh.
So for this week's Wednesday Rob Roundup, I will give you my personal favorites. Some of them you've probably seen, but view or watch them again anyways. This may be all we can get for awhile, until some normalcy--if ever--returns to Rob's life.
This is a short, totally adorkable clip of Rob from December 2008.
I don't know where or when this is from, but it's just a beautiful B&W shot of that face.

At the October 2008 Rome Film Festival. Wild dirty hair, and looking schmexy as usual.

From the VMan photoshoot in 2008. Love that he's a wee bit tan, love his forearm, love the smile and the eyes.

This is from May 2008. The girl, Laura Culpepper, won a contest to be a guest reporter for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Rob arrives and surprises her [and she doesn't keel over and die, to her credit]. They watch an exclusive clip from "Twilight," and then she interviews him. Love how fresh, relaxed, and unscripted it all is--Rob is just being his goofy self.
This from a 2008 photoshoot in New York City. I love its quiet simplicity and the stark colors.

This one is from the "Sex Drive" premiere in L.A., October 2008. The name of the movie and the way he looked at its opening...OME...so hawt. The look he gives could melt the polar ice caps.

From the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. His hair is shorter but still fabulously unkempt. Looks like they've already given his brows the "Edward" treatment. Will the jawporn ever end?! Let's hope not!

Hopefully by next week I'll have more recent photos of the Robster.

Knowing the cast of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is just a three hour drive north is just...gah. But I'm not the set stalker sort, so I'll just be happy that we're currently all in the same time zone and experiencing similar weather :)
I've heard there are 20+ L.A. paparazzi permanently ensconced in Vancity now, whose main goal is to get photos of Rob and Kristen. Ghastly. This probably explains why there are pretty much none (I won't post those creepy, fuzzy telephoto lens type papz pics). Either they are pretty much just going from hotel to set and back, or they've donned funny wigs and noses and are out and about Vancity in full disguise and totally undetected. I hope it's the latter--they need a life, too!
Thankfully, the rest of the cast still seem able to go about their business with minimal intrusion.
Xavier Samuel walking around town. If you blur your eyes a bit he could be very Rob-like. Just sayin'.
Taylor arrived in Vancouver and apparently went straight to hair and makeup. He works hard, this dear young man!

Kellan, want some fries with that shake? Does anybody really look like that in a tank top...seriously.

Another group outing. Love Nikki's purse.

Rob at LAX, en route to Vancouver. BauerGriffinOnline.com called him a "panty melter" in their post. Ahem.

One lucky fan ran into Peter on her way to work. And I'm sure she then had a very productive day at the office.

JustJared got some cool pics. Kellan and a papz (who he could probably squish with just one muscular pinky), and Jackson with his fresh new haircut, looking to chow down on his Subway and iced coffee.
Ashley looking very much like a movie star, walking her pup Marlow.

Dakota Fanning arrived in Vancity last week, and her fellow Volturi Cameron Bright (local dude who hails from Nanaimo) was spotted in town.

The cast went out to dinner one lovely evening. Check out @peterfacinelli...I bet he's Tweeting! More pics at LaineyGossip.

InStyle.com features a gorgeous gallery of Bella's wedding dress, as interpreted by some very talented designers.
From Zac Posen's imagination comes a pink turn-of-the-century corset and bustle style dress, complete with a full skirt and detailed sleeves. The lace-up boots keep with the vintage theme.

The dream team at Badgley Mischka envisions a high-buttoned neck and full sleeves, with a lace bodice and body-skimming skirt. A strong and captivating silhouette.

My personal favorite would have to be Christian Siriano's fierce and fabulous three-tiered dress. With a lace bustier, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a full body, this is the dress that I think would send Edward's pulse--if he had one--into oblivion. Mwah, Christian...love it.

See the whole collection here.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner recently spoke to MTV, discussing Bella and Jacob's complicated relationship, the intensity of filming certain scenes, and the heartbreak that is central to "New Moon."
An excerpt:
MTV: What is one of the main things you're eager for us to see when "New Moon" hits theaters in November?
Lautner: I think the biggest thing you learn is that I disappear for a while, and she starts going through a separate depression. You go into a depression — would you call it that? — when I leave.
Stewart: Oh my God, yeah.
Lautner: Then she comes back to discover that I'm a werewolf, so that's the big boom. Yeah, I get to transform into a werewolf a couple times, which is awesome.
MTV: It was a tough day to shoot?
Stewart: Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it's such a heightened version of reality. It's like, people don't just break up [in the "Twilight" films] — they break up and it literally kills you. It's not like you just say, "Oh, I'm really depressed and crying." Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, "Am I doing enough? Do I look like I'm going to die?"
MTV: Yeah, it would be tough to be the most dramatic person in the world, but without being cheesy. And Taylor?
Lautner: ["New Moon"] is very complicated. There's a lot of heartbreak, there's a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It's all over the place, and there's a lot going on, and there's many of those scenes that you described.

If you want to get together with similar-minded Twinuts, there is a slew of upcoming events that should satiate your thirst. Click on the photos to go to that event's site for more details.
Twilight Proms: This three-day Twilight event is unique, as its guests go on the road. Friday and Saturday night will be spent in London, then Saturday and Sunday will be in Birmingham. Daytime events and evening parties--sounds like a plan to me! Guests so far are Kellan Lutz, Chaske Spender, and Jose Zuniga (Mr. Molina).
EyeCon: Who cares about DisneyWorld when you could be at EyeCon instead? This Orlando, Florida, Twilight event is from September 25-27. Guests include Ashley Greene, Alex Meraz, Edi Gathegi, Justin Chon, and Gil Birmingham. Musical guests are The Nova Echo.
The Official Twilight Conventions: As of August 17, 2009, Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment have formed a partnership to produce a series of upcoming official fan conventions over the next three years. [Get more details on this from
The Lexicon.] I would imagine a "Twilight" convention co-produced by Summit would be pretty amazing, since they are the film company behind the "Twilight" franchise. The guest lists are varied, but include many of your favorite "Twilight" actors (and even a director).
Upcoming conventions:
Fantasy Twilight Tour: Brought to you by Super Twilight Conventions, this series of events will tour the United States in 2009-2010. From Nashville to Baltimore to Denver to San Diego (and other places in between), these conventions will feature "Twilight" celebrity guests, music, vendors, parties, panels, and contests.
(Thanks, @TwiExaminer!)
Twilight Cruise to Alaska: I blogged about this a few months ago, but it looks like the guest list has changed; and it still may. Sailing from Seattle, WA, on August 8, 2010, this 7-night cruise is a "Twilight" convention at sea which returns to port on August 15. Cruise guests include Ashley Greene, Alex Meraz, and Michael Welch--a vampire, a wolf, and a human! Nice balance. There is also an available 4-day/3-night pre-cruise package to tour Forks and Seattle.
Hopefully one of these will float your boat. Comment below if you've had any experiences at a "Twilight" convention.

Kristen did a recent interview and photo shoot with DazedDigital.com, talking about fame, Joan Jett, and that vampire movie phenomenon that turned her life a little crazy.
Here's an excerpt:
Dazed Digital: You are in the midst of becoming a huge star. There’s a truckload of paparazzi outside the door right now.
Kristen Stewart: Yeah, but you can’t think about it too much because if you think about it too much it is this weird and dreamy fantasy land – you think – ‘ what the hell absurd thing are we doing at 3 o’clock in the morning, with 300 people- pretending to be other people, what the f--k are we doing?
DD: The paparazzi thing is only since Twilight, right?
Kristen Stewart: Yeah since Twilight. That’s the only reason they’re out there. They find out where I am from the Internet - from Twitter, man! Anyone who wants to know where I am at any given time just has to go on Twitter, it’s so ridiculous!
DD: I assume playing Joan Jett is a lot different experience from Twilight?
Kristen Stewart: It’s so much fun. She’s the ultimate badass. She was the first woman to start her own record label. Everybody threw her out after the Runaways and was like, ‘Sorry girl, your shticks over’, she was like ‘No, the message stays the same people still want to hear it.' Who the f--k did that before her? The music industry is brutal. Once there’s one wave, one explosion of a type of music, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and tries to emulate that, so there’s a bunch of sh--ty versions of other bands. So there’s like sh--ty versions of everybody!
