Twilight Blog on MSN Movies

Gah, I love Tuesday nights. Because it's when I get to slog through a week's worth of Robalicious pics and videos. I get to go all fangirl and goofy and a wee bit naughty on Tuesday nights...

Let's start off with a bang. @SaraKullen sent me this, and I have to warn you that the first few seconds might cause fainting, so don't be chopping tomatoes or sitting by a pile of broken glass. I guarantee your jaw will drop at the sepia-toned highlights. Once you've picked yourself up off the floor, enjoy the video collage of Rob.

There are two other videos with this series. See them here and here.

Rob met some fans this week in NYC. He's all sweaty from filming a bike-riding scene in the heat. Rob + sweat + hot, humid NYC night = [Fill in the NC-17 blank.]

More Rob at the airport photos. This time he's at LAX, arriving just this evening. Same NYY cap, although the greenish shirt seems new. No one should look this good after a 5.5 hour flight.

This video is a bit sad, actually; especially when prefaced by Rob talking about his life, comparing himself to a stone that is stepped on and flies away and you don't know where it's going. The song is old ("Superman (It's Not Easy)" by Five for Fighting), but it's a good one, and it goes so well with the photos. Poor Rob...he must wonder every day how his life turned upside-down... :(

Jackson Rathbone gave MTV more deets on the birthday party scene in "New Moon," when Jasper reacts rather badly to Bella's paper cut.

MTV: Yeah, we saw you in the trailer, jumping at Bella.

Rathbone: You saw a little bit of it in the trailer; you didn't see the whole thing.

MTV: There's more to the birthday scene?

Rathbone: Yeah, there's a little bit more violence. It's definitely longer. It's really about the moment where Bella is realizing what kind of world she's into. We spent the entire time with "Twilight" delving into the vampire world, but now in "New Moon," it's like you're in the vampire world, and what happens when you get a paper cut? What happens when everyone you love turns around on you and suddenly could kill you? She's in that world right now, and she's kind of scared by it. She's also getting into the werewolf world, and suddenly she's got these two new worlds on her — and there's love in both. It's an amazing script.

Read the whole interview here, or watch the video:

I definitely know this is one of the scenes in "New Moon" that I am really looking forward to seeing on the big screen. When I was reading the book, it was such a surprise how this scene unfolded. And we know it goes downhill fast after her birthday, ugh.

Ahhh, the French. They get the best cheese and the best wine. They get Olivier Martinez. And now they get this round collector's box with three DVDs and some bling, all for EUR 44,99 on Amazon.fr.

A slough of "New Moon" goods were on display at Comic-Con. Belts, clothes, jewelry...even doorknob hangers. I kid you not. For Halloween I'm seriously thinking me in the green Bella birthday dress with a profusely bleeding finger, and my husband in a blonde pouf wig looking like a deranged, bloodthirsty Jasper.

LaineyGossip has some hawt photos of Jackson Rathbone and his band 100 Monkeys performing in Dallas, TX, over the weekend. If I wasn't an Edward devotee I'd throw all my eggs into Jasper's basket. (Did I really just say, "Jasper's Basket?!" Ahem.)

What is it about a guy singing and sweating and playing an instrument on stage that is just so...gahhh?! And can I just add that Jackson's steamy concert hair is way sexier than Jasper's "New Moon" pouf?

Today I'm in a self-promotion spiral of shame. (This happens to me here once in awhile; I think it's one of the hazards of being a Superfan.)

First there is the shout-out from my friend @jenyamato at Rotten Tomatoes, who so kindly mentioned this site in her piece, "Discover the Best Twilight Blogs!" Jen and I met during our visit to the "New Moon" set in May, and let me tell you, she seriously rocks. Her "Jen's Twilight Corner" on Rotten Tomatoes is a regular must-read for any Twifan.

From Jen's piece on Rotten Tomatoes.

Next, another of my daily dealers @SaraKullen sent me this video clip, one of the extended extras from Robert Pattinson's film, "How To Be." At 1:05 the other dude asks, "What do you want to look at, MSN News? Go to MSN.com," and they break up into laughter.

Okay, so it's not like Rob is saying, "I'm going to check the Twilight Superfan site; I so freakin' love that chick and her bootylicious...blog." (That only happens when I'm asleep.) It's not even Rob saying it, it's the other guy whose name I don't know. But hey, it's an MSN mention on Rob's movie, and MSN is my home turf!

Alright, back to our regular program.
