Summit Entertainment just announced that "The Twilight Saga" will have an official MySpace page, which will go live shortly!

When the page launches they will just be hosting the trailer--but the site will grow as the November 20, 2009 release date for "New Moon" approaches. The MySpace page will feature tabbed browsing, allowing visitors to go back and forth between "Twilight" and "New Moon."
I'll let you know as soon as I hear from Summit about the page going live, and any future updates, too.
In the meantime, follow me on Twitter to get the latest TwiNews!

I know there are many Jacksper fans out there, and I hope this post will give you a fix, if Jackson Rathbone is your personal brand of heroin.
On June 27 he was in East Hampton, New York, at the WordTheatre Pushcart Press benefit, where he read from "The Bank Robbery" by Steve Schutzman. He performed with his band, 100 Monkeys, at the after-party. (By the way, fellow vampire Edi Gathegi was also at the benefit.)

His band just finished up two months' of gigs on the east coast, and they've got upcoming shows in Dallas, Texas, Los Angeles, and Auburn Hills, Michigan. Follow them on Twitter to get the latest news. Here's a video of their song, "Slow Down." Can't decide if I like the banana suits or the pink waitress outfits best.
Jackson's movie, "The Last Airbender," directed by M. Night Shyamalan and co-starring Dev Patel, isn't due for release until July 2, 2010; but the first official teaser trailer just came out. It looks pretty cool. Have you guys heard of this story? Comment below and tell us what you know.
Jackson recently spoke with Starlog, where he talks up both "Twilight" and "New Moon." Which of the "Twilight" saga books is his favorite? Does he think "New Moon" still has that indie-movie feel, even with a bigger budget? Read the article here for the answers to these questions. (Source: TwilightBlog.net)

If you were loving the hawtness that was Rachelle Lefevre at the MMVAs last Sunday night, you were probably ooh-ing and ahh-ing over her makeup and her outfit, like I was.
InStyle magazine gives the deets on how to make blue eye shadow look sexy and not freaky clown-ish, with Rachelle as a prime example of the correct how-to. Very much following the rule of "If you play up the eyes, go minimal on everything else."

I Googled everywhere trying to figure out who did her awesome blue dress, but came up empty-handed. If you know, do tell! I love the figure-flattering sway and cut, and the very of-the-moment one-shoulder style. She rocks those gladiator heels and the studded mini clutch.
Very cool post-show interview. Rachelle talks about being a big Kelly Clarkson fan, her Victoria role in "New Moon," swiping Robert Pattinson under the legs, and being in the trees.

If the wait for "New Moon" to open is causing you undue misery and stress, then maybe retail therapy is the solution. No, I'm not talking a pair of Christian Louboutin Architek slingbacks or a delicious Gucci New Jackie bag in metallic violet leather. I'm talking Twilight merchandise, of which there is a new crop.
Mattel is jumping on the "Twilight" bandwagon with their Bella and Edward Barbie dolls. The Edward doll supposedly has a "shimmering complexion" and "trademark gold eyes." Does the Bella doll trip and fall a lot? Or does she have finger-shaped bruises on her hips? Let's not even think about the anatomically-correct question.
Toys 'R' Us Canada is taking pre-orders for shipping on 27 November 2009. $34.99 CDN, eh?

Good old Hot Topic has released a slew of new merch, including a Team Jacob shirt, a Cullen family messenger bag, and an Edward hinged chest. I'm not sure why all the new stuff is very black and white, with very little color; like they were saving on the ink.

Red and white resin "Breaking Dawn" bookends are available at Barnes & Noble. For $49.95 you get two chess piece bookends with felted bottoms (don't we all want felt bottoms?). You get a queen and a pawn; of course I never did figure out the meaning of this on the book's cover. Did you?
Thanks to Entertainment Earth, you can unleash your inner TwiGeek with the "Twilight" 2GB USB Flash Drive (that'll show those damn Trekkies). Then show all your non-Twi friends how watching "Twilight" 20 times makes you way cooler, as you kick their sorry butts in a round of the "Twilight" Scene It? game. Pre-order these now for
29 October shipping.
You thought you'd seen it all, but you haven't: "Twilight"-inspired makeup has now hit the cosmetics counters. It won't make you look sparkly like a Cullen, but hey, us mere mortals need all the help we can get. Funky cosmetics company DuWop already has a whole line of Venom products--Moon Venom to Lash Venom to Pink Shimmer Lip Venom. Now they are adding to it with the LunaTwilight and Volturi lines. The "New Moon" cast is apparently sporting the stuff, and we all saw how good they look in the trailer.
And last but not least, Spreadshirt has a bunch of new "Twilight" shirts that are colorful and clever. I'd personally get the Forks High P.E. shirt.

And I'm sure you've all ordered your "Sexy Stars of Twilight" magazine, right? If not, you'd better run to the newstand like, NOW...before they're all gone.

Were you were wondering if I was going to let a couple of days go by without posting anything on Robert Pattinson? I was wondering the same thing. Even if I didn't want to, I couldn't avoid it, now could I? And believe me, I don't want to not want to.
This past week Robert has been in lower Manhattan filming "Remember Me," and fortunately the production company has their security measures up to proper Keep-Robert-Safe standards. The fans and papz seem to have mellowed as well.
Did Emilie de Ravin win the New Jersey State Lotto? Because it sure looks like it.

Here's Rob getting busted by a cop, played by co-star Chris Cooper.

Even with a wet head and hat hair, he's easy on the eyes.

Rob did some night scenes on Monday. I am wondering where in Manhattan--other than someplace like Scores--there are girls dressed in cowgirl outfits.

Rob filmed a fight scene, and the fight-face makeup is quite convincing.

Today some scenes with Rob and Emilie de Ravin at a fairground. What do you guys think of the Yankees hat?

Am I the only one starting to feel like there will be very little surprise left to see once "Remember Me" actually gets to the theater? I've basically now seen where they've been filming, and having lived in NYC, I know where most of these locations are. The photos give away some of what's happening in the scenes, and the movie script is out there on the internet if you want to read it (I haven't). I mean, I enjoy seeing photos of Rob as much as any Twifan. But I'd like to see this movie and not feel like I know what's coming as each scene unfolds. Oh well.
An insane number of photos to peruse at your leisure at TwiFans, RadarOnline, Splash News, OMG Celebrity News, Socialite Life, and Lainey Gossip.

On June 21, Taylor Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre attended the MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVAs), which was broadcast from Toronto, Canada. The MMVAs are the annual music awards hosted by MuchMusic, Canada's music video channel.
The screams for Taylor were amazing--there is definitely a major amount of Team Jacob peeps out there!

Taylor and Rachelle both gave MuchMusic some scoop on "New Moon":

Taylor introduces Nickelback in this clip. I can't believe this chick (who is she?!) asks him if werewolves wear pants. Could she have asked him any dumber questions?
Taylor and Rachelle both gave MuchMusic some scoop on "New Moon":
- Taylor stated, "I think the biggest thing is that New Moon is going to tear your heart. There’s a lot going on and it’s gonna break it for sure."
- Rachelle gave an update on her character Victoria: "I think in Twilight Victoria was much more playful, just with her lover/mate James, having a good time, but in New Moon and Eclipse she’s definitely out for vengeance. It gets a lot more serious."

The "New Moon" premiere on November 20 seems like it'll never get here. But the slow trickle of merchandise has finally started. Yay for Twifans!
The book cover for the movie tie-in version of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is up and it looks awesome. Team Jacob is definitely pulling ahead on this cover--Edward is just the man on the moon here. I can't quite make out who the four smaller figures are behind them, but I'm guessing it's a few of the wolf pack and a female (Emily? Leah?).

There is also the "New Moon" 2010 calendar, which looks like it will stand up on your desk. A perfect distraction from your computer monitor. According to FPI it will be available on July 30 (although Amazon currently shows no availability date). Jacob is definitely in the forefront, while Edward seems like he's ready to pounce or run.

This is the poster included in the calendar. Finally, we see the Cullens! Doesn't everyone look like they've had an excellent makeover? Rosalie and Esme's hairstyles are a little more up-to-date, and Alice's has been tamed down a little. Carlisle's is a little Pat Riley-ish, but his makeup is a huge improvement from "Twilight." Emmett appears even bigger. Love the look of determination on Edward's face. Notice how Jasper is turned away from the rest of the Cullens.

Ok I don't usually post this kind of thing, but this particular video is well-edited, has a cool song, is sexy, and made me laugh out loud. For real.
So this is purely gratuitous for you Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen/Team Edward Twipeeps. (Might I suggest the lobster bib again?)
