Team Twilight!

First off, a big welcome to you from me, the Twilight Superfan. This MSN blog is for all you Twilighters who, like me, just can't get enough of all things Twilight. Whether you've been into the books, the movie, the fan fiction, the actors, the cheezy merchandise, the gossip...doesn't matter. As long as you're into Twilight, this Superfan site is for you!
How did I fall down the Twilight rabbit hole? It began November '07, when I picked up Twilight at the library. I have always had a fascination with vampires (don't we all?), but had been resisting Twilight, thinking it was just teen romance lit. Well I ended up devouring the book and finishing it in the wee hours of the morning. Then I went straight to Amazon and ordered Twilight, as well as New Moon and Eclipse. I barreled through the two other books as well. The movie's release in November '08 was like manna from heaven. I saw it at the theatre, umm, five times. Yes, you read that correctly: 5 times. My friends were starting to look at me funny. I was reading everything online I could find about the books and the movie, and then I discovered a whole new world called fan fiction. My Twilight rabbit hole was getting deeper and deeper, and my husband was starting to wonder if an intervention was needed.
Then somehow the Fates said, "We need to turn this chick's unhealthy obsession into something productive. Maybe set her up with a Twilight-related job." And with a wave of a wand somewhere in MSN Heaven, a contract and a W9 form materialized...and I became the Twilight Superfan. Crazy! But crazy awesome.
I'll be trolling the Net for Twi-related news, updates, media, etc., and sharing the good stuff here. I'm looking forward to this site growing and to building a community of Twilight fans!

about the blogger

Myriam Gabriel-Pollock has been writing for MSN since 2006 -- everything from quizzes to feature articles to the Twilight Superfan blog. Prior to that she was a hi-tech geek. She has happily transitioned into a film geek, especially if there are wizards, vampires, mythical places, and spaceships.
