On Monday, February 14, "For the Love of Film (Noir) Blogathon," a celebration that casts its web across the Web to raise money for film restoration, kicks off and Videodrone and The Hitlist (written by MSN's own femme fatale of a noir siren, Kim Morgan) are both participating this year.

This year, the Blogathon is teaming up with The Film Noir Foundation to raise money to restore the Cy Enfield film "Try and Get Me," an independently-made production from 1950 starring Frank Lovejoy and Lloyd Bridges.

The “For the Love of Film (Noir) Blogathon” is hosted by Ferdy on Film and The Self-Styled Siren (aka Marilyn Ferdinand and Farran Nehme), who will compile the lists of posts across the Internet. For information on the Blogathon, see Ferdy on Film here, and for information in participating, see The Self-Styled Siren here. The official Facebook page is here.

Kim and I will be posting through the week starting Monday, both on our respective MSN blogs and our respective websites -- me at Parallax View and Kim at Sunset Gun -- so check in and, if so moved, support the For the Love of Film (Noir) Blogathon.
