Coming Up: The debut season of "Pretty Little Liars"
plus more small screen announcements
The new ABC Family Channel hit "Pretty Little Liars: The Complete First Season" (Warner) arrives on DVD on June 7, in advance of the second season of the show.
From the producers of "Gossip Girl" and "The Vampire Diaries," the series is based on the series of young adult books by Sara Shepard, about a group of friends who have drifted apart since the disappearance of the manipulative leader of their clique and reunited when they start receiving mysterious messages from someone named "A."
More recently announced small-screen releases:
- The four-part “Pioneers of Television: Season 2" (PBS) arrives March 1
- "Home Improvement: The 20th Anniversary Collection" (Disney) collected the entire series in one box set on May 10
- "The PJ's: The Complete First Season" (Lionsgate), the animated series from executive producer Eddie Murphy, is set for May 3
- "Children's Hospital: The Complete First and Second Seasons" (Warner), the live action series that began on the web and landed on Adult Swim, arrives May 24
