Charlie Daniels gets a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heart
Musician will recuperate at home and resume touring April 11
Charlie Daniels is recovering following surgery to have a pacemaker implanted Thursday (March 28) at a Nashville area hospital. He is expected to be released from the hospital on Friday, and will spend the next two weeks recuperating at home.
Three performances have been cancelled, including an Easter appearance at a Tennessee church, plus two New Jersey tour dates in early April. Those tour dates will be rescheduled after he returns to the road to resume his tour on April 11.
During a visit to his doctor three days prior to the surgery, Daniels was diagnosed with a mild case of pneumonia and admitted to the hospital for a series of routine tests. Those tests revealed that a pacemaker was needed to regulate his heart rate.
“I just had not been feeling well and wanted to get checked out,” explains Daniels in a press release. “I am thankful the doctors found the problem and were able to implant a pacemaker to get my heart rate regulated. I am feeling so much better and looking forward to spending Easter with my family.”
God Bless Charlie. Glad your feeling better. Hopefully we can see you in Detroit.
Ye right about sour comments. I did get mad and enter one. But I can tell you don't approve and you are right. However, some of yours are not so nice either.
As for me, I am fed up with the rednecks who are going to save the world with their pea shooters. I did make one blooper in my email which you should appreciate. I said that Idaho had passed anti gun bills. Actually they were very pro gun bills. And actually the Dems in Idaho are pretty conservative. Many are hunters and own guns. The Gummint can have them when they run out of ammo.
Glad you are on the mend. I am sure you will be back on your feet and off to perform again. Go get em Tiger!!!
