FEATURED POST
Her new single definitely is not 'Whip My Hair' material

Willow Smith is moving farther away from the vibrant energy of "Whip My Hair" with every new song: her latest offering, "Sugar And Spice," is a disturbing ballad that samples those artfully gloomy alt-rock kings, Radiohead.
"Inject my soul with darkness," the 12-year-old Willow rasps over a lurching rhythm snatched from Radiohead's "Codex," off of their 2011 disc "The King of Limbs." Later, Smith declares, "I tried to be sugar and spice, but I'm melancholy and can't do anything right." Later still, she sings, "Take a swing at me, I'll fight/To the death, my light is bright." The tween displays considerable vocal skill on "Sugar and Spice," which was posted online early on Tuesday, but the song's lyrics are too pointedly chilly to overlook.
Last summer, Willow offered a more intimate side of her songwriting on "I Am Me," with a music video that featured the singer walking around New York City with a shaved head. "Your validation is just not that important to me," she sang on the track, which followed the more uptempo tracks "21st Century Girl" and "Fireball," featuring Nicki Minaj. "Knees and Elbows" has been announced as the title of Willow's debut album, but a release date has yet to materialize.
Chuckin' the deuce never sounded so good
Ciara is as hit-or-miss as it gets. For every crunk-worthy "Got Me Good" that didn't quite make an impact on ears (or even placement on her upcoming album), there's a "Body Party" that did. And for every sexy and synthy "Sorry" that should have, there's an "I'm Out" that will instead. We already told you that the opening track to Cici's upcoming self-titled set is an anthemic club banger for the ladies, but now you can hear the Nicki Minaj-assisted tune for yourself.

Yeezus is looking for some 'Big Willie Style,' clearly
While it's been almost a decade since Will Smith released a new album, Kanye West is trying to change that. In an interview with HipHollywood.com, the Fresh Prince reveals that he's being urged by Yeezy to get back in the booth and record some new music.

The ATLiens land in the desert in their new video
Fans of VH1's T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle will remember this past week's episode where T.I. was filming the video for "Hello" with Cee-Lo and his family was all there to support...and even star in it. It's a family affair in the desert.
We listened to Bey's latest single before it was yanked from the web
Breaking news, guys. Beyonce is a grown woman. Okay?! So, to be clear, that means that, if she so chooses, she can be bad if she wants. Or live fast. But maybe also go slow. And, well—according to the rest of her new song's lyrics—she can ultimately do "whatever" she wants. Got that? Good, it's settled.

Vroom...vroom...?
This past weekend, T.I. dropped a clip of the video for his collaboration with Lil Wayne titled "Wit Me." To call the clip a trailer would be an insult to trailers everywhere, as it only clocked in at 18 seconds. Well, the video finally arrived, and it's as fast as the teaser. But not in the way that you might think.
The only recap that matters

If you had something better to do last night than dedicate three hours of your evening to watching the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, then take the next three minutes instead to read through this and catch up on what everyone's talking about at the water cooler. You're welcome.
Yeezy is back, clearly.
See the photo above? It's a screenshot on the side of a building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in New York City. That is merely one of 66 locations that will be premiering Kanye West's new single "New Slaves" globally. The track with projected visuals of Ye will appear on the various locations all night long. When Kanye returns, he goes hard in the (building) paint.

The event will produce many emotions for all who attend.
This year will mark Drake's 4th annual OVO Fest held in his native Canadian stomping grounds. The two-day event has a tentative lineup announced, as Drake revealed some of the details yesterday (May 15th). While Drizzy is the obvious headliner (he wouldn't have it any other way), other acts were named on the bill that will definitely guarantee some emo fanfare.
