Get it? Because that's how hot she is.

Back in September when Rita Ora's debut album "Ora" dropped, I may (or may not have) had some choice words for "Facemelt," the LPs two-minute introductory tune. Maybe I said it sounded like studio scraps from an M.I.A. session, or that it was as if Rita was playing a part she didn't quite fit, or that it was all electric drills and car engines. Maybe

It's definitely going to be a "Cole Summer"

"Now this right here's not a preview...of what the album gonna bring you," J. Cole announces at the start of his latest "Cole Summer." The song is basically a catch up of Cole's career thus far. Detailing how he's successful enough...but not completely successful. He's getting there though.

And you're invited

It's finally here. Granted, it's covered in radio drops and tags, but until the soundtrack for "The Great Gatsby" actually arrives, this is as close as we'll get to its most anticipated tune: Beyonce and Andre 3000's cover of Amy Winehouse's classic "Back to Black." So, deal.

Taylor Gang is blind to anything but money.

Wiz Khalifa has been a busy man this year. While his fourth studio album O.N.I.F.C. dropped at the close of last year, it didn't pick up steam until 2013. Add to that the birth of his son Sebastian by fiancé Amber Rose, and it's been one helluva ride for the Taylor Gang general. Today he released the visuals for "Bout Me," a track with NSFW language that introduces some newer faces into the fold.

Danish duo debut sophomore effort with live performance

Quadron, Copenhagen's finest import (since Giancarlo Esposito, of course), didn't enter through a side door or some underground tunnel when they came to perform at New York's Le Poisson Rouge last night (April 25). Nope; they simply walked past the line of their impatiently-waiting fans and though none of us fainted and there weren't any Beyonce or Bieber-like screams (we saved those for when we got inside, duh), it's only a matter of time before that becomes routine for the duo.

K.R.I.T., Ne-Yo, and many others unite for mental health in new campaign

By kathy iandoli Apr 25, 2013 2:02PM
Out of all of the topics discussed in song, mental health is rarely one of them. UK music/lifestyle site SoulCulture has launched a campaign titled #OKNOTTOBEOK. The primary focus is opening the discussion about mental health, primarily conditions like depression.

The R&B chanteuse embarks on journey of introspection on new album.

Bad news for Ciara fans who were eagerly anticipating "One Woman Army" -- its not coming out. Have no fear though... the Atlanta songstress will drop her self-titled set this summer. A chosen few (including yours truly) was recently invited to a New York recording studio to hear select tracks from the project.

Simmer down!

Upon the first listen of Alicia Keys' latest album "Girl on Fire," everyone knew that her sexy, breathy, climactic duet with Maxwell, "Fire We Make," was the standout cut, so hearing that it'd get the video treatment brought about rightful cheers and claps. It was anyone's guess if the two would actually play the parts they talked so tough on the verses (see: "It's getting hotter and hotter / Like a moth to a flame / I can't stay away"). And the answer is, ugh, kind of.
