Somewhere Lil' Mama is crying. Willow Smith, the youngest child of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, has unveiled the video for her debut single "Whip My Hair." Watch it below.
This is probably the first time in history that a music video from a 9-year-old has been so highly anticipated. Having already signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation, Willow created a sizable buzz this summer when this song leaked. Now, with a video to accompany it, we have a clear direction where this little lady is going... and it's straight to the top of the charts.
In the video, little Willow dips her braids into colors and paints the black and white canvas of her classroom by, well, whipping her hair. It's young, it's hip, it's fresh, and it's needed for young girls who have been watching Kat Stacks on YouTube for the past year. Look out, Rihanna, you've got some future competition...and let's just say she won't be the weeping Willow. (P.S. check out her mom Jada and brother Jaden whipping their hair too!)
