Fear Factory, Voivod, Cattle Decapitation Highlight Shockwave Festival
Eleven band North American tour starts July 6

Topping the bill on the North American tour this summer is Fear Factory, whose new album The Industrialist (out June 5 on Candlelight) is a very good, adventurous follow-up to 2010’s return to form Mechanize. Supporting bands include legendary Canadian innovators Voivod, San Diego death metalers Cattle Decapitation, the always-great Misery Index, shredding phenoms Revocation, and fun Denver thrashers Havok, as well as Dirge Within, Last Chance to Reason, Vildhjarta, The Browning, and Forged in Flame. It might not be on the scale of Mayhem Fest or Summer Slaughter, but that’s as solid looking a summer tour as you’ll find. Initial dates are below, with more shows to be announced soon.
