Striker Premieres New Song "Forever"

Ironically, it lasts only three minutes

If you're not familiar with Canadian band Striker, they follow the same path as other retro-minded bands like Cauldron, White Wizzard, and Holy Grail, celebrating the flashy riffs and soaring lead vocals of the mid-1980s. Striker's forte, however, is pure, classic speed metal in the tradition of Agent Steel, and they showed a ton of promise on their 2010 full-length debut Eyes in the Night.

The band has a new album in the works, and in the meantime they've released a brand new song called "Forever", which was recorded by none other than Michael Wagener, the great German producer who's worked with such bands as Accept, Raven, and Dokken. It's a mighty fine tune, more refined and confident than Striker's past work, and proof that the next record should be one we should watch for.
