Dying Fetus Premieres New Video
Death metal veterans release new album June 19

For all the gimmickry surrounding the band's name, Maryland death metal mainstays Dying Fetus have always been of the smartest bands in the genre, their songs focusing on sociopolitical commentary, which was best exemplified by their classic 2000 album Destroy the Opposition. The band's been on a good run as of late, highlighted by 2009's Descend Into Depravity, and their seventh album Reign Supreme is even better, toning down the technicality enough to warrant comparisons to that high water mark album 12 years ago. They've just released their new video for the provocatively titled track "From Womb to Waste", a straightforward performance clip filmed at last month's Maryland Deathfest by director Scott Hansen. It's as catchy a song as they've put out lately, a good indication of how strong the new record is.Reign Supreme comes out tomorrow (June 19) via Relapse, and can now be streamed over at MetalSucks.
