Pig Destroyer get Kubrickian with new video for "The Diplomat"
New album 'Book Burner' out now

Pig Destroyer have teamed up with director Phil Mucci for a very impressive new video for the song "The Diplomat", from their new album Book Burner (Relapse), which if you don't know already, is outstanding. Mucci is quickly making a name for himself as a very imaginative director of meal videos, having created mind-blowing clips for Opeth and High on Fire, and he does it yet again on this track, putting a modern twist on "The Dawn of Man" chapter of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Only instead of a monolith compelling a gorilla to use a bone as a weapon, a corporate suit hands a gorilla a machine gun. Needless to day, dark satirical mayhem ensues.
