Rush Premieres "Headlong Flight", Announces North American Tour
'Clockwork Angels' out June 12

First, the new single "Headlong Flight" is available for streaming, either in its five-minute version at Rolling Stone or better yet, in its full 7:20 running time in the video posted below. Much like 2010's "Caravan" and "BU2B" - which will also be on the new album Clockwork Angels, out June 12 on Roadrunner - the band is sounding heavier than they have in a while, but "Headlong Flight" is the superior track of the three, built around a nasty little riff that nods subtly to "Bastille Day". Give it a listen:
Secondly, Rush has released the initial dates for their big three-month North American tour. According to Roadrunner, "Tickets for the Manchester, NH; Philadelphia, PA; Newark, NJ; Brooklyn, NY; Boston, MA; Anaheim, CA; and Los Angeles, CA concerts will be on sale Friday, April 27; tickets for Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; and Buffalo, NY concerts will be on sale Saturday, April 28. On-sale dates for the rest of the shows will be announced soon."
