Great news today, folks, as the first new Down music since 2007 has just surfaced this morning. The ripping little doom-infused song “Witchtripper”, from their forthcoming new six-song EP has premiered over at Rolling Stone. The EP, titled EP One, will be released on September 18, and is apparently the first of four EPs Down plan to release between now and the end of 2013, so get ready for a bevy of new tunes from the New Orleans Southern sludge favorites over the course of the next year and a half.
Listen to Down’s “Witchtripper” here.
