'Anthems' EP to be released March 19

If you don't know already, Anthrax will be releasing the Anthems EP on March 22, which will be highlighted by cover versions of six of the band's favorite songs. A while back they debuted a very solid cover of Rush's "Anthem" and more recently a rendition of AC/DC's "T.N.T." that was a bit less successful, and today their version of Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" has surfaced online. The band doesn't try to do anything new, no attempt to put a unique spin on the track is made; instead, they faithfully hammer out the song like the fans they are, and you've got to admit they nail it.
