Weird Al hosts Bonnaroo's lineup announcement festivities

It's the middle of winter which means it is summer music festival lineup announcement season.

Last week Coachella unveiled the lineup for its 2013 edition to mixed responses and next week the Sasquatch! music festival will announce its lineup during a concert featuring Built to Spill and Cody ChestnuTT. But those aren't the only two festivals spilling the beans on their 2013 offerings. Bonnaroo, one of the largest music festivals in the country, is getting ready to reveal its lineup and the festival is taking to the Internet to help generate some buzz.

Today festival organizers announced that this year's lineup will be revealed during a one-hour online broadcast hosted by Weird Al Yankovic. The date for the broadcast hasn't been announced, but according to festival organizers it will include live performances by Bonnarroo artists, clips of past Bonnaroo performances and some form of audience participation and giveaways.
