Out of the blue but very welcome news: Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band are doing a quick North American swing from February to April, hitting arenas in limited areas, including a Canadian leg.
After years of staying off the road Seger has done some minor touring in the past decade. He last toured in 2011 and was on record saying he was going to release another new album before hitting the road again, so the new dates are a surprise for fans. His last studio album, "Face the Promise," came out in 2006 after an 11-year hiatus from the studio and quickly went platinum.
Here is the complete itinerary so far:
Feb. 27: Toledo, Ohio
March 5: Grand Rapids, Mich.
March 7: Green Bay, Wisc.
March 12: Winnipeg
March 19: Calgary
March 21: Edmonton
March 23: Saskatoon
March 27: Vancouver, BC
March 29: Seattle
March 30: Portland, Ore.
April 2: Denver, Colo.
