Keith Urban shoots a funny video to announce 2013 tour
Tour mates Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch are in on the fun
Forget boring press releases, Keith Urban found a much more unique and creative way to announce the first leg of his 2013 North American tour today. The singer piled his tour-mates Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch (“Cowboys and Angels”) into a vintage car and shot a two-and-a-half minute online video to break the news.
The funny clip, which opens with a quote from “Clark Griswald,” shows Urban, Lynch, and the four members of Little Big Town on a road trip. With no working radio (and a quick brush with the law), the artists entertain themselves (and each other) with a playlist of songs ranging from “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” to “Karma Chameleon” to “Party Rock Anthem”
The tour kicks off July 18 in Cincinnati, with 25 dates announced so far, running through Oct. 5.
