Rascal Flatts Expands Band Brand Into The Restaurant Business
Phoenix Announced As First Location For New Restaurant Chain
Following in the footsteps of successful restaurant chain owner Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts is launching its own a chain of themed restaurants around the U.S. and Canada, with the first location planned for Phoenix. The restaurants will bear the band’s name.
The 14,000 square foot Phoenix restaurant will feature a state-of-the-art sound stage for live entertainment, two bars—including an elevated bar and an indoor/outdoor bar—plus retail space, big screen TVs, and the Flatts Lounge. An opening date has not been announced, but the venue’s specific location in the city has been.
Additional locations planned for 2013 are in Tysons Corner, Va. (just outside of Washington, D.C.); Columbus, Ohio; Pittsburgh; Raleigh, N.C.; Minneapolis; and Long Island, N.Y. Planned expansion for 2014 calls for new restaurants to open in Charlotte, N.C.; Tampa, Fla.; Boston/Cambridge, Mass.; and Madison, Wis.
The band is currently on its’ all-band summer “Changed Tour” with Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge.
