Jason Aldean tries his hand at acting
Singer’s first film to debut in January at Sundance
CountryWeekly.com breaks news that Jason Aldean will make his film acting debut in a Western called “Sweetwater,” which will be screened for the first time next month at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The film stars actor Ed Harris as well as “Mad Men” star January Jones (pictured above in a still from the movie).
According the comprehensive film site IMDB.com, the movie is set in the late 1800s, and tells the story of “a fanatical religious leader, a renegade sheriff, and a former prostitute [who] collide in a blood triangle on the rugged plains of the New Mexico Territory.”
