Colt Ford to play Canadian dates with Eric Church
Also, Parmalee embarks on headlining tour
Colt Ford will play his multi-week dates outside the United States when he opens the Canadian leg of Eric Church’s Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour Jan. 31-Feb. 23. The coast-to-coast Canadian run encompasses 15 dates.
“Opening for Eric Church is a huge honor for me,” says Ford (pictured) in a prepared statement. “I’m excited about the opportunity to be introduced to and connect with the Canadian fans.”
Ford will also make his Canadian television debut February 15, performing on CTV Television Network’s national morning show, “Canada AM.”
In other news, country rock band Parmalee will headline the 2013 Country Gone Wild Tour, kicking off February 15 in Ladson, S.C. Joining the group on all dates will be RCA Nashville act Bush Hawg. Eight shows have been announced so far.
Parmalee will be giving away two pairs of tickets for each show to the winners of a trivia contest they will post the morning of every show date to their Facebook page and Twitter page (@Parmalee). The trivia question will be posted at 11:00 a.m. local venue time for each date. The first fan to respond with the correct answer on each page will win a pair of tickets to that night’s show.
