Carrie Underwood To Get ‘Blown Away’ May 1
New Single Debuts At No. 1 On Download Chart
Carrie Underwood unveiled the title and cover art of her next album today, along with her famous legs. The album, to be titled “Blown Away,” hits retail May 1, and the glam cover photo shows off Underwood’s best asset (other than her voice).
Her poppy first single from the album, “Good Girl,” is off to a fast start at country radio, zipping from No. 30 to No. 19 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in its second week on the list. It’s off to an even faster start at retail, where it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Country Songs chart, which measures download sales.
Earlier today, Underwood released parts of the album cover piece by piece on her Web site, revealing a new section to fans every 20 minutes.
“Blown Away” was produced by Underwood’s longtime producer, Mark Bright, and is her fourth studio album on 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville.
She is a stunning woman with a beautiful voice.
Now that's how you show off the lower extremities...not some broken-Barbie, over posed thing. She's not smiling either but Carrie does it w/o looking emaciated and miserable.
I'm no fan of country but Underwood's starpower transcends labels. I just need to know if she unveiled the cover art and said, "KAPOW. That's how it's done."
