Love and Theft member reveals he’s soon to be a father
Eric Gunderson and his wife are expecting their first child in May
Eric Gunderson of the country duo Love and Theft has revealed that he and his wife, Emily, are expecting their first child next May. The couple wed in April 2010 in Hendersonville, Tenn., near Nashville.
“Emily and I are so excited to announce that we will be having our first child on May 18th of next year,” he tells People. “I am so thrilled and know that my beautiful wife will be the most amazing mother.”
Love and Theft recently scored two CMA Awards nods, although they did not win at the Nov. 1 show. The duo, which also includes Stephen Barker Liles, is still nominated for an American Country Award for music video of the year, with that show set to air next month on FOX.
The two men, who share lead vocals, recently enjoyed the biggest success of their careers with No. 1 single “Angel Eyes.” They previously earned a top 10 hit in 2009 with “Runaway.” They’re currently on the CMT On Tour with headliner Jake Owen.
