Teen artist RaeLynn, a protégée of Blake Shelton and a semi-finalist on the season two of “The Voice,” has landed a country record deal with Republic Nashville, home to Martina McBride, the Band Perry, the Eli Young Band and others.

The 18-year-old singer is already at work writing and recording songs for her first album.

Raised on a farm in Baytown, Texas, she began performing early on with her family at church and local events. She graduated from high school two years early in order to move to Los Angeles to pursue her music ambitions.

On July 29, RaeLynn will perform for the first time with several of her new label mates at the Crown Royal Presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
