Jason Aldean's Sanford Stadium show captured in live concert DVD
Performances include Aldean's duets with Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson and Ludacris
This past April, Jason Aldean became the first music act ever to perform at the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium, a homecoming show of sorts for the Macon, Ga., native. Cameras captured the show, attended by more than 66,000 fans, and it will be released as a live concert DVD on Oct. 15.
Titled "Night Train To Georgia," the DVD contains 18 performances, including Aldean's duets with Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson and Ludacris. The 90-minute film also includes behind the scenes footage shot from the show's planning stages through the moment Aldean takes the stage, as well as interviews with Aldean and footage from his Fenway Park and Wrigley Field stadium shows this past summer.
"That day in Athens [Ga.] will always be one of my proudest accomplishments," says Aldean in a press release. "I've been working my whole career to get to this point where I can go into a stadium like Sanford, which I've idolized my whole life, and leave a mark. I watch it back now to remember the details because it was all overwhelming and a pretty surreal moment for me."
