Kings of Leon re-emerge

"Supersoaker" is the first single from new album

Kings of LeonIt's been a weird few years for Kings of Leon. Rather than their music making headlines it has been their behavior, be it canceled shows, bird poop or the band's self-imposed hiatus a couple of years back.

Time to hit the reset button. The band's new album, "Mechanical Bull," comes out Sept. 24, with a few festival dates scheduled in the U.S. in October. It will be the band's first album in nearly three years.

The first single, "Supersoaker," is a very promising return to the band's hard-rocking sound. Let's hope whatever personal issues they have are resolved, because this is good stuff.

Love this band, their sound, and style.  Looking forward to some classic KOL rock to put them back on the music scene.

I like KOL, & this explains why their movie has been playing all the time on cable TV.

Never knew they were away. The biggest news story since Jay-Z dropping his hyphen. Meh...
