San Diego’s Comic-Con International has become such a huge deal that not only is it a gathering place for comic, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and anime fans, that it’s become the summer event for studios to flog their product. On July 19 all four members of Metallica will be on hand to premiere the new trailer for their upcoming movie Metallica: Through the Never, as well as take part in a panel discussion with director Nimród Antal, actor Dane DeHaan, and producer Charlotte Huggins.
In addition, and most notably, is that Metallica will also perform “an intimate private concert” at a secret location in San Diego. How can I see that show, you ask? First of all, you have to attend Comic-Con, and show up at Metallica’s Hall H panel, which starts at 6:30 PM on July 19. Only during the Hall H panel will those in attendance have an opportunity to win tickets and learn the location where Metallica will play later that same evening. So if you’re a metal fan who happens to be attending Comic-Con, you have a pretty darn good chance to see an up-close-and-personal Metallica show.
No I wasn't comparing them to college bands. I can't stand that stuff. All I'm saying is they have nothing left to say, the same with most other bands that really played rock music . You can't go back. If you have music from the earlier years of rock, you better keep it, because there will be no more. Hasn't been any real rock music in over 25 years. As for the 100 bands comment, I was saying that this band isn't revelant anymore, so to put them on a pedestal is ..............well you know. Been a lot better rock groups that were better than these guys, just didn't get the breaks.
