Amidst all the Jackson furor, another death is receiving little notice -- Vibe magazine is closing its doors.
On behalf the Vibe content staff (the best in this business), it is with great sadness, and with heads held high, that we leave the building today.
It's just another large red flag that traditional media, like traditional music, is struggling.For a magazine as large and influential as Vibe to fall to the times is significant. Not as significant as the death of the King of Pop, maybe, but worth noticing.
